Sigvaris is currently looking for a National Oedema Sales Training Manager to join our Sales Team in the United States.  As a leading compression solution provider, we are not just a company that manufactures products.  We are a global team on a mission to help people feel their best.  The National Oedema Sales Training Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving oedema training programs that enhance product knowledge, clinical expertise, and selling skills across the Sigvaris sales organization.  This role collaborates closely with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Product Management, National Accounts, and other cross-functional teams to identify training needs, develop impactful learning solutions, and drive sales force effectiveness.  The position takes a leadership role in planning and executing training content for National and Regional Sales Meetings, utilizes field insights and data analytics to identify training opportunities, and supports strategic initiatives that contribute to organizational growth and performance.


This position is remote with travel requirements of 30% at minimum.


This position can be based anywhere in the East or Central region in the U.S.  You must live near a major airport.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

     • Creates, develops, and implements training modules for the field sales team, clinical sales team and customer accounts, including new hire onboarding, product training, clinical education, and selling skills development.

     • Develops and implements annual sales training plan using the SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relative, and Time-Bound) format.

     • Collaborates internally with field sales, clinical sales, marketing, national accounts, customer service, and Product Management to gain competitive insights, identify market trends, support new product launches, and develop training programs as required.

     • Develops content and conducts interactive customer training for national accounts and regional key accounts.

     • Provides product demonstrations and educational presentations to help influence purchasing decisions and support customer adoption of Sigvaris oedema products.

     • Produces quality training content and educational resources that increases Sigvaris oedema brand awareness and align with corporate guidelines and strategic objectives.

     • Collaborates with the Director of Sales, Sr. Commercial Director Oedema, and Regional Sales Managers to identify training needs, performance gaps, and opportunities to improve sales force effectiveness.

     • Serves as the primary training lead for National and Regional Sales Meetings, including planning, content development, speaker coordination, session execution, and post-meeting follow-up activities.

     • Conducts quarterly field rides with Territory Managers, Clinical Sales Specialists, and Regional Sales Managers to gain customer insights, identify training opportunities, and ensure training programs remain aligned with market needs and sales challenges.

     • Must be able to attend and actively participate in quarterly Plan-of-Action (POA) meetings in person to support sales strategy execution.

     • Utilizes sales data, performance metrics, and analytics to identify trends, knowledge gaps, and opportunities for future training initiatives and sales effectiveness programs.

     • Supports cross-functional strategic initiatives and special projects, including global initiatives and other corporate programs designed to improve organizational alignment and business performance.

     • Develops and facilitates Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) and Instructor-Led Training (ILT) using multiple learning and digital platforms.

     • Ability to create multimedia training resources, including video content, live-streamed training sessions, digital learning tools, and other interactive learning solutions.

     • Able to maintain a strong focus on enhancing both product expertise and selling skills across the sales organization to improve customer engagement, sales execution, and business results.

     • Must be able to effectively promote Sigvaris corporate values and company culture internally and externally.

     • Demonstrates effective communication skills.

          o Able to communicate with all levels and departments within Sigvaris.

          o Responds to all oral and written communications in a timely manner.

          o Maintains and encourages an open line of communication with both internal and external customers.

          o Accurately and legibly presents written data to affected internal/external customer.

     • Follows established company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Sigvaris policies, industry standards, ISO standards, 6S and Lean Manufacturing, and Federal, State, and local laws.

     • Follows all work instructions and creates/maintains accurate records to support the Sigvaris Quality System and Quality Policy.

     • Accurately performs any other duties and responsibilities as assigned to ensure an efficient workflow.


Requirements


EDUCATION and WORK EXPERIENCE:

     • Bachelor’s Degree required.

     • A minimum of three (3) years of experience as a sales trainer.

     • Preferred candidates will have training experience with medical compression therapy (and products) and thorough knowledge of venous disease and the lymphedema and lipedema markets but not required.


CRITICAL SKILLS:

     • Ability to create and execute annual sales training plans and develop training programs.

     • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.

     • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations.

     • Strong customer facing skills.

     • Strong communication and presentation skills.

     • Willingness to listen and ability to think creatively and innovatively.
