Overview:

Reporting to the VP of Global Partner Channels & Alliances, this is a pivotal, high-impact leadership role designed for a strategic visionary. As a player/coach, you will spearhead a high-performing team responsible for our most critical named Alliances, serving as a primary architect for the business's strategic partner ecosystem. This position is central to our expansion, tasked with leveraging unique solutions and capabilities within the Alteryx platform to drive transformative market growth, lead comprehensive data & AI enablement, and redefine our competitive landscape.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team of Alliance professionals, balancing direct ownership of key strategic partnerships with rigorous coaching and development of team capabilities.

  • Define and execute the strategic vision for key alliances, personally driving high-value business development while empowering the team to scale joint planning, demand generation, and revenue performance.

  • Serve as the primary architect for alliance governance, orchestrating QBRs and executive checkpoints to ensure strategic alignment and consistent growth across the portfolio.

  • Directly drive complex, cross-functional sales engagements, serving as a player/coach by modeling best-in-class account planning, deal structuring, and "art of the possible" solution development.

  • Foster a culture of collaborative innovation, guiding the team in developing joint offerings, services delivery models, and market-ready assets that differentiate the Alteryx ecosystem.

  • Act as the internal champion for our partner ecosystem, socializing the strategic value proposition and partnering behaviors across the organization to drive alignment and engagement.

  • Proactively identify and resolve systemic bottlenecks, utilizing your expertise to provide hands-on support for high-stakes escalations while simultaneously mentoring the team on negotiation and partnership health.

  • Spearhead data & AI enablement initiatives within the partner ecosystem, ensuring our alliances effectively utilize Alteryx to deliver governed, scalable AI outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 8+ years of proven success in Alliance Management with 3-5+ years   experience leading Alliance teams with significant experience around Analytics, Business Intelligence and/or Data Platform market.

  • Proven track record of driving partners influenced revenue across a team.

  • Skilled in departmental management, performance management, and negotiation.

  • Superb written and verbal communication skills. Ability to translate technology features into business benefits.

  • Polished presentation skills to audiences large and small; highly articulate ambassador for Alteryx Alliance Accounts.

  • Experience driving integrated solutions that bundle partner services to create joint offerings.

  • Ability to creatively drive, coach and mentor Alliance team members on developing go-to-market plans to promote joint solution awareness, develop GTM plans and execute with clear account/teaming agreements and management system to measure success.

  • Talented cross-functional collaborator able to develop trusted relationships and rapport.

  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce.com expected.

  • Able to travel as required.


Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Deep understanding of Agentic AI and proven experience integrating with cloud data platforms (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks) to drive consumption and strategic value.

  • Data expertise: Experience in positioning Alteryx (or similar) as the governed logic engine for enterprise AI systems, effectively bridging the gap between raw cloud data and trusted, explainable agentic outcomes.

  • Exceptional self-starter with a mastery of organizational prioritization and the ability to thrive within autonomous, high-velocity environments.

  • Agile and visionary thinker, adept at navigating complex challenges and delivering high-impact results under rigorous time constraints.

Compensation:

Alteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation is determined by several factors, including but not limited to relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.

The base salary range for this role in the United States is $108,000-$138,000 with On-Target-Earnings range of $180,000-$230,000.


In addition to base pay and commission eligibility, this role includes clear forms of additional compensation, such as:

  • A monthly Connectivity Plus stipend of $150 to support remote work-related expenses

  • An annual $200 home office reimbursement
