Role Title

Regional Sales Director

Purpose of role

The Regional Sales Director is responsible for building relationships and supporting sales to achieve agreed upon targets in their designated block of business within the MGA channel.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a defined territory to generate sales and develop new business
  • Lead by actively prospecting for new sales, as well as establishing long lasting relationships and servicing existing clients
  • Promote products through presentations, seminars and other approaches
  • Provide superior service to ensure positive experiences at all times
  • Able to generate sales, make the right connections, build relationships, sell our solutions, and support implementation and ongoing services
  • Build and execute a sales plan to deliver expected results
  • Identify marketing and sales opportunities and best approaches to close sales
  • Develop and provide regular sales and product training seminars
  • Be the primary contact for escalated support for distributors
  • Other duties as required

Principales responsabilités

  • Gérer un territoire défini comprenant des comptes situés dans l’Est du Canada afin de générer des ventes et de développer de nouvelles occasions d’affaires
  • Assurer un leadership actif en matière de prospection, établir des relations durables et soutenir les partenaires de distribution existants
  • Promouvoir les produits au moyen de présentations, de séminaires et d’autres initiatives
  • Offrir un service de qualité supérieure afin d’assurer une expérience positive en tout temps
  • Générer des ventes, établir les bons contacts, développer des relations, présenter nos solutions et soutenir leur mise en œuvre ainsi que le service continu
  • Élaborer et mettre en œuvre un plan de vente permettant d’atteindre les résultats attendus
  • Cerner les occasions de vente et de marketing, et déterminer les meilleures approches pour conclure les ventes
  • Élaborer et offrir régulièrement des séances de formation sur les produits et les stratégies de vente
  • Agir comme principal point de contact pour les demandes de soutien nécessitant une intervention accrue auprès des distributeurs
  • Accomplir toute autre tâche connexe, au besoin

Qualifications principales 

  • Excellente connaissance du secteur de l’assurance vie et de ses produits
  • Excellentes aptitudes en communication et compétences supérieures en présentation
  • Permis d’assurance de personnes valide 
  • Bilinguisme français-anglais, à l’oral comme à l’écrit
  • Haut niveau d’intégrité
  • Excellentes aptitudes interpersonnelles
  • Poste basé au Québec

Salary Range:

$80,000 - $100,000

The actual base salary for this position will depend on several factors, including job-related skills, experience, and education. In addition to base pay, eligible employees may participate in a discretionary variable incentive plan, results are subject to both individual and company performance.
