As part of HBX Legal’s Litigation & Insurance team, you will manage disputes and claims across jurisdictions, coordinate external counsel, and partner with internal stakeholders to mitigate risk and deliver efficient outcomes within a collaborative, team-based environment.

Job Summary

As part of HBX Legal’s Litigation & Insurance team, you will manage disputes and claims across jurisdictions, coordinate external counsel, and partner with internal stakeholders to mitigate risk and deliver efficient outcomes within a collaborative, team-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage litigation and pre-litigation matters, ensuring consistent strategy, escalation, and communication.
  • Draft and negotiate settlement agreements, legal notices, and dispute-related documentation.
  • Coordinate and oversee external counsel and advisors, ensuring quality, cost control, and timely delivery.
  • Lead insurance claims handling, including notifications, documentation, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Partner with internal teams to resolve disputes early and improve processes.
  • Provide clear, business-focused legal advice, risk assessments, and updates.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and dashboards; track KPIs and identify efficiencies using Excel, Power BI, and legal tech/AI tools.

Skills & Experience

  • Qualified lawyer (Spain) with litigation experience in private practice and/or multinational environments.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines with high ownership and attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel skills; Power BI and interest in legal tech/AI preferred.
  • Collaborative team player with high integrity and a strong service mindset.
