Senior Back End Developer

This is a remote position.

Responsibilities:

• Help to define server-side data analytics tech stack
  
• Build and optimize data analysis business logic
  
• Build RESTful web services to be consumed by single page application(s) using Express/Node
  
• Provide comprehensive unit and functional testing for all routes, endpoints, and features-       
  
• Use best practices to help us optimize for developer productivity, reliability, and scalability
  
• Mentor and coach existing development team on standards, tooling, and best practices
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with data in a SaaS environment
  
• 3+ years MariaDB/MySQL experience
  
• Experience with server-side analytics and data manipulation
  
• Experience developing and optimizing complex dynamic systems
  
• Cloud/web analytics and reporting
  
• Data performance optimization
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with data caching mechanisms or other approaches to provide the fastest experience possible to our customers / web visitors when handling heavy calculations on large datasets
  
• Experience with machine learning and data normalization
  

Education:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
  
• Specialization in data and graph theory
