Job description

The Role

Support teams are drowning in tickets, and most of them still measure quality with a spreadsheet and a gut feeling.

Kaizo fixes that. But right now, plenty of the exact companies who need us have never heard our name. That is the gap you close. As our BDR, you are the
first conversation a support leader ever has with Kaizo.

This is an entry-level role, but it is not a lead-routing machine. You will research accounts, pick up the phone, write outreach that does not read like outreach, and turn cold companies into warm meetings for our Account Executives. You own the top of the funnel.

Is this you?

  • You are not scared of the phone. You actually like the challenge of getting a busy Head of Support to stop scrolling and reply.

  • You hear “no” ten times before lunch and it does not dent you, because you know the eleventh conversation is the one that matters.

  • You are curious. You ask why. You take feedback on Monday and you have applied it by Tuesday.

  • You want to learn B2B sales properly, from people who close six-figure deals, not from a slide deck.

If that sounds like you, keep reading.

Why Kaizo?

Kaizo is not your typical SaaS company. We are AI-native, product-led, and scaling fast in a space that is ripe for reinvention: quality assurance for customer support teams.

We plug natively into Zendesk and Salesforce Service Cloud, automatically review 100% of support conversations, and help support leaders coach their agents with data instead of guesswork.

Teams at Foot Locker Europe, Trading 212, UiPath, GetYourGuide, SteelSeries, and EverHelp already use Kaizo to scale quality without scaling headcount. Demand is outpacing our outbound. We need someone to go and start the conversations.

What's it like working here?

  • It's fast, honest, and very human.
We're transparent to a fault, allergic to egos, and obsessed with building a culture that works as hard as our product.

  • We do daily check-ins. Frequent huddles. Remote team weeks.

  • We don't micromanage - but we do expect you to own your outcomes.

  • This is a team of thoughtful builders. You'll be trusted, stretched, and supported.

👉
If you want a comfy role with a huge team, a fat budget, and every playbook already written, this is not it. If you want to learn the craft of sales properly, own the first conversation with our future customers, and earn your way into an AE seat, this is your shot.

What you will actually be doing

  • Prospect into support, operations, and QA leaders at companies running Zendesk or Salesforce, across e-commerce, fintech, gaming, SaaS, and BPOs

  • Run real multichannel outbound: cold calls, personalised email sequences, and LinkedIn. Cold calling is a daily habit here, not an occasional dare

  • Build and enrich target account lists with Apollo, Clay, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator

  • Qualify inbound from demos, support tickets and website visits, and respond fast

  • Book and prep qualified meetings for AEs, then follow the deal so you learn what happens after the handoff

  • Keep HubSpot clean. Log activity, track your funnel, know your own numbers cold

  • Feed what you hear back to marketing and product. You talk to the market every day and that insight matters here
