Job description

Overview:

Digital Engagement Service Manager

National role | Flexible location | 37.5 hours per week

Lead the future of CGL's digital engagement

What if digital support could reach more people, remove barriers and create new pathways into treatment and recovery?

At Change Grow Live, we’re turning that ambition into action. We’re looking for an exceptional Digital Engagement Service Manager to lead our National Digital Engagement Service and shape how we deliver safe, accessible and effective support across the country.

Your opportunity

This is a strategic and operational leadership role with national influence.

Reporting to a Director, you’ll lead the development, mobilisation and performance of our digital engagement offer. You’ll bring together people, technology and insight to create consistent, recovery-focused digital and hybrid services.

You’ll lead Digital Engagement Team Leaders, strengthen national pathways and ensure safeguarding, quality and governance remain at the heart of delivery. Working with commissioners, partners and operational leaders, you’ll use data and service-user insight to improve outcomes and identify opportunities for growth.

You won’t simply manage an established model. You’ll help define what comes next.

Where you will work:

Location: This is a remote role with flexibility on where you're based. Your contractual base will be your nearest Change Grow Live office, with occasional travel across England and Scotland to connect with colleagues, support services and help drive the success of our Digital Engagement Service.

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week.

Contract: Permanent.

Please note:

Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and any associated payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

Where applicable, London Weighting will be determined by your contractual service base.

Interviews will take place in person on 7 September 2026 at our King's Cross offices. We kindly ask that you ensure you are available to attend on this date before submitting your application.

Responsibilities:

What you’ll bring

You’ll be an experienced senior leader from substance use, health, social care or a related field, with:

Who you are

  • You're a leader who enjoys building, improving and influencing.
  • You thrive on turning ideas into action, bringing people together and finding better ways to deliver great services.
  • You're confident leading through change, using data to make decisions and creating environments where people can do their best work.
  • You'll have experience of leading transformation, mobilisation or digital delivery, together with a strong understanding of safeguarding, governance and recovery-focused practice.
  • You'll also bring commercial awareness, experience of managing performance, budgets or contracts, and the ability to build trusted relationships with colleagues, commissioners and partners.
  • Most importantly, you'll be excited by the opportunity to shape something new and create lasting impact for the people and communities we support.

Be part of something bold

This is your opportunity to shape a national service with the potential to transform how people access support.

Bring your vision. Challenge what’s possible. Help us build digital services that work for everyone.

Be open. Be compassionate. Be bold.
