Are you ready to join a growing team?

 

We're seeking an experienced Project Manager III to lead the Snowflake workstream within a large-scale Servicing Modernization Program. This role requires a strong technical project manager with experience managing cloud, data, and Agile software delivery initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering, architecture, and business teams to drive project execution, manage dependencies, and ensure successful delivery across multiple workstreams.

 

Location: Remote

Duration: 18 months

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage high-priority, cross-functional projects impacting multiple business units from initiation through completion.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and risk management strategies.

  • Partner with stakeholders to gather business requirements, define project scope, and establish project objectives and deliverables.

  • Coordinate project execution to ensure milestones, timelines, quality standards, and budget expectations are achieved.

  • Monitor project performance using established project management methodologies and tools, identifying risks, issues, and variances while implementing corrective actions as needed.

  • Manage project scope, schedule, and cost through structured change management processes.

  • Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and key milestones to stakeholders and executive leadership.

  • Lead cross-functional teams by promoting collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational governance, risk management, regulatory requirements, and internal control standards.

  • Support project closeout activities, lessons learned, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

  • Perform additional project management responsibilities as assigned.

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Snowflake workstream within the Servicing Modernization Program.

  • Ensure alignment of Snowflake build layers and retrofit activities with the Integrated Project Plan.

  • Oversee the data delivery pipeline and report on the status of Snowflake development across new and retrofit environments.

  • Maintain Jira governance and hygiene across multiple Agile boards while contributing to executive reporting packages.

  • Lead recurring coordination meetings with engineering and retrofit teams to ensure transparency, remove obstacles, and escalate risks when appropriate.

  • Collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, data, and business teams to support successful project delivery.

  • Apply technical project management expertise across cloud, data, and software development initiatives utilizing Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies.

  • Develop and maintain project documentation, status reporting, dependency tracking, and stakeholder communications.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and professional leadership for assigned projects.

  • Coordinate and influence cross-functional project teams without direct supervisory authority.

  • Foster collaboration, accountability, and effective communication among project participants.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of four (4) years of proven project management experience;
    • OR a combined minimum of six (6) years of higher education and/or professional work experience, including at least four (4) years of project management experience.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, cross-functional technology projects through the full project lifecycle.
  • Experience leading enterprise data, cloud, or digital transformation initiatives, preferably involving Snowflake or modern data platforms.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • System architecture
    • Data flows, integrations, and APIs
    • Cloud platforms and enterprise databases
    • Reporting and analytics solutions
    • Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
    • Agile Scrum and hybrid delivery methodologies
  • Experience partnering with software engineers, developers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
  • Advanced proficiency with Jira for Agile planning, tracking, reporting, and backlog management.
  • Experience developing and managing project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, change management, and executive status reporting.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, resolve issues, and drive projects to successful completion.
  • Strong strategic thinking, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Preferred: Experience supporting enterprise data modernization or cloud migration programs.
  • Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Agile, or comparable project management certification.
  • Preferred: Experience working in financial services or other highly regulated industries.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $43.06 to $71.76 per hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefits package is also offered.
