PURPOSE OF JOB

The Regional Director is responsible for leading, developing, and growing a high-performing sales team while driving revenue growth, product adoption, and market expansion across an assigned region. We are looking for people passionate about innovative, disruptive technology to join our team. This will support our South Central Region including but not limited to Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate sales activities to drive revenue growth and product utilization across a designated region or list of accounts
  • Develop and execute regional business Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) aligned with the company objectives
  • Set clear goals and performance expectations for each territory and monitor progress against sales quota assignments and region expense budgets
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual regional sales quotas
  • Manage, coach, mentor, and develop team members through regular field engagement, including monthly, quarterly business reviews, and performance management
  • Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and hiring high-caliber sales and support talent to build and sustain a successful regional team of 6-8 employees
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Identify skill gaps and ensure ongoing training, onboarding, and professional development for the team
  • Support complex sales opportunities and high-value deals
  • Build and maintain relationships with the Commercial Leadership Team (CLT) and internal cross functional key stakeholders 
  • Track competitive activity by gathering market intelligence on pricing, product options, and sales strategies
  • Closely partner with Area VP to translate field insights into actionable business plans
  • Maintain professional knowledge through on-the-job training, industry networking, and participation in company tradeshows
  • Required travel up to 60% of your time 


SKILLS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Must be located in a major city within the South Central Region prior to hire
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced environment
  • Strong med-device business acumen
  • Data-driven with a growth mindset
  • Attention to detail and focus on the identification of potential issues and continuous improvement
  • Experience with Mac devices, Microsoft, Dropbox, OneDrive, AcuityMD, Salesforce, and PowerBI


REQUIRED EDUCATION: 

  • BA in business (or related discipline)


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 

  • 5+ years of medical device sales experience in a hospital setting  
  • 3+ years experience in a leadership role with proven success of leading a sales team

The actual base pay is dependent on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience, market data, skills, geographic location, and business needs. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for equity.
