As Senior Sales Executive – Issuing & Acquiring Processing, you will own business development across the UK market, targeting banks, fintechs, PSPs, payment institutions, acquirers, and issuers.
You will manage the full enterprise sales cycle, position processing technology to senior stakeholders, and help clients launch, optimise, or scale their payment processing infrastructure. The role combines strategic prospecting, consultative selling, commercial negotiation, and long-term partnership development.
Promote and sell card issuing processing and card acquiring processing solutions to financial institutions and payment businesses;
Build relationships with banks, fintechs, PSPs, acquirers, issuers, EMIs, and other regulated financial services companies in the UK;
Identify opportunities where clients need modern payment processing infrastructure to launch, scale, or improve card programmes;
Manage the full B2B sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery through proposal, negotiation, contracting, and account handover;
Translate complex payment processing capabilities into clear commercial, operational, and technical value for client stakeholders;
Prepare tailored commercial proposals, pricing models, sales presentations, and solution narratives;
Lead negotiations while protecting the company’s commercial position and value proposition;
Collaborate with product, technical, implementation, and operations teams to align solutions with client requirements;
Represent the company at payments, FinTech, banking, and financial services events across the UK and international markets;
Maintain accurate CRM data, pipeline visibility, forecasting, and structured sales reporting.
Previous experience selling card issuing processing, card acquiring processing, payment processing infrastructure, or related FinTech solutions;
Strong understanding of card payments, acquiring, issuing, payment schemes, banking infrastructure, or financial technology services;
Experience selling to banks, fintechs, PSPs, acquirers, issuers, EMIs, or regulated financial institutions;
Proven ability to manage enterprise B2B sales cycles with multiple decision-makers and technical stakeholders;
Ability to explain complex payment technology in clear, commercially relevant language;
Strong negotiation, presentation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills;
Fluent professional English and confidence working with international clients;
Experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate sales forecasts and reporting.
Existing network across the UK payments, banking, FinTech, PSP, acquiring, or issuing ecosystem;
Experience with SaaS, banking technology, embedded finance, card programmes, or payment orchestration solutions;
Understanding of UK financial services regulation, FCA-regulated payment institutions, or EMI business models;
Experience representing a company at industry conferences, partner events, or commercial roundtables.
Consultative sales approach with the ability to uncover commercial and technical client needs;
Strong commercial judgement and confidence negotiating high-value B2B contracts;
Clear communication style suited to senior stakeholders, product teams, and technical decision-makers;
Self-driven remote working style with strong ownership of pipeline, priorities, and follow-through;
Ability to build trust in complex, long-cycle sales processes.
Fully remote contract role based in the United Kingdom;
Competitive compensation package of £5,500 - £8,500 gross/month;
