Pearl Consulting Group
Full-Time | Remote: Egypt, Canada, United States
This role is designed for someone who began their career as an IAM/IGA engineer, technical lead, or architect and has since developed strong project and client leadership skills. You will own delivery while remaining deeply engaged in solution design, integrations, technical decisions, risks, and implementation details.
This is not a traditional project coordinator role. You must be able to lead an executive status meeting, challenge an implementation plan, understand an identity data flow, and work directly with engineers to resolve delivery blockers.
You will serve as the bridge between clients, engineering teams, security and compliance stakeholders, and Pearl leadership—turning complex IAM/IGA requirements into executable plans and successful outcomes.
Own the end-to-end delivery of IAM/IGA consulting engagements, including discovery, scope definition, planning, estimation, resourcing, execution, testing, deployment, and transition to operations.
Lead implementations involving Saviynt and/or SailPoint, including SailPoint Identity Security Cloud and IdentityIQ.
Translate business, security, and compliance requirements into clear technical workstreams, milestones, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
Partner with architects and engineers to review solution designs, integration patterns, identity data flows, connector strategies, provisioning logic, and workflow configurations.
Identify technical risks early and work with engineering teams to resolve architecture, integration, data-quality, environment, and platform-related blockers.
Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, dependencies, risks, issues, and change requests.
Serve as the primary delivery contact for clients, leading working sessions, project status meetings, steering committees, technical discussions, and escalation conversations.
Coordinate work across IAM engineering, infrastructure, application, security, compliance, audit, HR, and business teams.
Drive delivery of core IGA capabilities such as joiner/mover/leaver processes, access requests, provisioning and deprovisioning, access certifications, application onboarding, role management, and segregation-of-duties controls.
Ensure project plans account for requirements gathering, design approvals, development, integration testing, user acceptance testing, production readiness, deployment, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
Maintain clear and accurate project documentation, including project plans, decision logs, risk and issue registers, technical dependencies, status reports, and executive updates.
Support and mentor technical team members while establishing accountability for deliverables, quality, and timelines.
Contribute to delivery standards, reusable project methods, estimation models, and implementation best practices across Pearl engagements.
At least five years of hands-on IAM/IGA engineering, implementation, or architecture experience.
Strong implementation experience with Saviynt, SailPoint Identity Security Cloud, SailPoint IdentityIQ, or a comparable enterprise IGA platform. Experience across both Saviynt and SailPoint is highly preferred.
At least two years of experience leading technical projects or workstreams as a Technical Project Manager, Technical Lead, Engineering Lead, Solution Architect, or similar role.
A strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, including joiner/mover/leaver processes, access requests, approvals, provisioning, deprovisioning, access certifications, and application onboarding.
Working knowledge of identity repositories, authoritative sources, entitlement models, role-based access control, role mining, segregation of duties, and identity data reconciliation.
Experience working with enterprise integrations and technologies such as REST APIs, SCIM, SQL, Active Directory, LDAP, HR systems, cloud applications, and connector frameworks.
The technical judgment to evaluate proposed solutions, ask detailed questions, identify weak assumptions, and recognize implementation risks.
Demonstrated experience managing project plans, estimates, resources, dependencies, budgets, risks, issues, and scope changes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical decisions to executives and discuss implementation details with engineers.
Confidence working directly with clients in consulting, professional services, or another external delivery environment.
Experience with delivery and planning tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
Previous experience as an IAM/IGA engineer, architect, or technical implementation lead.
Experience leading multiple IAM/IGA workstreams or concurrent client engagements.
Familiarity with security and compliance requirements such as SOX, audit controls, least privilege, and access governance.
Experience estimating IAM/IGA implementation efforts and supporting statements of work, project scoping, or change-order development.
Saviynt or SailPoint certifications.
PMP, CSM, SAFe, or another relevant project or delivery certification.
