Job description

Join the company that’s building the telemetry infrastructure for the AI era. At Cribl, we partner with IT and Security teams at many of the world’s biggest enterprises, including half of the Fortune 100, to bridge the gap between AI ambition and infrastructure reality. As the AI Platform for Telemetry, we give customers the choice, control, and flexibility to manage and analyze telemetry for both humans and agents, so they can build what’s next.

We’re one of the fastest‑growing private companies and a leading player in a massive, fast‑moving market. With a global workforce, we’re remote‑first and grounded in a simple idea: software is a people business. Cribl is the place where curious, collaborative people can do their best work, grow fast, and bring their full selves to the herd.

Why You’ll Love This Role

Cribl is seeking a FP&A Systems and AI Enablement Manager, to join our finance team. Reporting to the Director of Corporate FP&A, this role goes far beyond traditional system administration. We are looking for a hands-on architect who will build next-generation financial systems and actively deploy artificial intelligence to eliminate manual workflows. As a key partner to finance leadership, you will drive the planning, forecasting, and reporting processes that power our organization's growth as we transition to a public company.

As An Active Member Of Our Team, You Will…

  • Own our EPM platform (Pigment): Manage the system end-to-end, including data models, calculation logic, dimensional structure, security architecture, and release management.
  • Translate Business to Tech: Convert complex business requirements (revenue models, headcount plans, unit economics) into technical platform solutions and scalable modeling patterns.
  • Drive Architecture: Make foundational architectural decisions that will determine how planning functions across the company for years to come.
  • Lead Finance AI Adoption: Identify, pilot, and deploy AI use cases, including automated variance commentary, narrative generation, anomaly detection, and AI-assisted scenario modeling.
  • Automate Workflows: Design and test conversational and agent-driven finance workflows that guide business partners through routine planning tasks.
  • Collaborate on Deployment: Partner with Data Science and IT to roll out AI solutions, ensuring strict governance, accuracy, and auditability.
  • We are a remote-first company and work happens across many time-zones – you may be required to occasionally perform duties outside your standard working hours (if on call is not required) OR This position will require stand-by, on-call, or off-hours duties (if on call IS required)

If You’ve Got It - We Want It

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Systems, Accounting, Economics, or another data-related focus.
  • Experience operating at a high-growth, pre-IPO SaaS company is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Python or similar scripting languages is a plus.
  • Experience: 5+ years in a hybrid FP&A/Systems role, possessing a strong foundation in corporate finance and a deep understanding of the business logic behind financial forecasts.
  • Technical Chops: Deep, hands-on implementation experience in modern EPMs (Pigment Certified Modeler credentials are a plus), with exposure to cross-system integrations (e.g., Workday, NetSuite, Salesforce, BI tools).
  • AI Fluency: Active, daily utilization of LLMs, copilots, and automation tools to solve real business problems.
  • Soft Skills: Sharp attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while wearing multiple hats.
  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills with a proven track record of influencing key stakeholders, driving alignment, and working cross-functionally.
