Job Details

RESPONSIBILITIES:​

  • Staff telephone consumer support position in a call center environment for patients, providers, or field team members – depending upon program requirements

  • Accepts inbound calls and makes outbound calls to patients or other parties based on program requirements

  • May provide disease process and drug support education per approved call guides/scripts

  • May provide emotional support to patients and caregivers

  • May work across functional teams (ex. reimbursement support) with ability to understand key principles of reimbursement, patient assistance and co-pay assistance

  • May assess patient risk for compliance and adherence to treatment regimen identifying barriers to care and referring to additional support services

  • Receives notification through but not limited to web portal, patient assistant program, fax enrollment form, electronic enrollment form or phone.  Calls patient to provide information about the product, program, send out information kits if needed, and management advise for any side effects per program business rules

  • Enter consumer activities accurately in CRM data base as outlined in business rules

  • Ability to work within and document all reportable activities timely and accurately in Clinical Data Base following business rules and defined scripting.

  • Intakes and reports adverse events as directed

  • Accountable for being flexible during program developments, enhancements, and with changing program needs

  • May be asked to work varied shifts

  • Must obtain and maintain additional required nursing licenses.

  • May support on-call after-hours nursing activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Registered nurse possessing a current license issued by a state or jurisdiction within the United States, and unrestricted in any state

  • Experience with and/or potential to provide high quality customer service

  • 3 years nursing experience preferred

  • Telephonic experience a plus

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Ability to use a computer for data collection proficiently

  • Must be highly organized and self-directed
