Job description

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic and growing technology team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and deploying scalable and high-performance applications using modern technologies. You will work on challenging projects involving headless architecture, containerization, cloud platforms, and CI/CD automation, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java 17, Spring Framework, and MySQL.
  • Build and manage front-end components using React.js within a headless architecture setup.
  • Implement and manage cloud-based solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Ensure efficient build and deployment of pipelines using CI/CD tools, Maven, and Git.
  • Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and manage deployment environments effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Drive technical discussions, mentor junior developers, and contribute to architectural decisions.


Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Java (preferably Java 17) and Spring ecosystem.
  • Strong experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
  • Proficiency in React.js and understanding of headless architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Maven, Git, and containerization (Docker).
  • Proven experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Nice to Have:
  • Elastic Path certification or relevant training.
  • Experience integrating with payment gateways, PIM systems, and OMS platforms.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Kubernetes, or Terraform.
  • Experience working in Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
