Climate Collective Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting climate tech startups. We work within the climate ecosystem to foster innovation by connecting startups with funding, investors, education, and accelerator programs. Our remote team of above 50 members operates collaboratively to drive impactful, sustainable solutions for climate-related challenges. 

About the Role 

The Marketing Lead will be responsible for strategizing, planning, and executing large-scale events and marketing programs that enhance the organization’s brand visibility, stakeholder engagement, and business growth. 

This senior role demands a blend of strategic thinking, creative execution, and strong leadership to manage end-to-end event marketing initiatives and program outreach. The Marketing Lead will collaborate across departments, manage internal teams and external partners, and ensure that every event and program aligns with the organization’s strategic objectives and brand positioning. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Build and manage marketing communication, digital campaigns, and brand storytelling around key events and programs to enhance program reach and impact. 

  • Lead marketing initiatives for program launches, participant engagement, and partner visibility. 

  • Oversee marketing collateral, digital promotions, and media engagement related to programs 

  • Manage content calendar and assist in content strategy across all platforms 

  • Brainstorm and develop new ideas for community engagement and social media engagement 

  • Build, manage and track online presence across all social media platforms 

  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals and vendors to deliver high-quality outcomes. 

  • Manage budgets, timelines, and stakeholder expectations across projects. 

  • Coordinate with leadership to align marketing goals with organizational strategy. 

  • Represent the organization at key events, media interactions, and partnership forums. 



Requirements

Qualifications and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Management, or a related field. 

  • 10–15 years of experience in marketing with a strong focus on event management, outreach, and program marketing. 

  • Proven experience in conceptualizing and leading large-scale events, marketing programs, and partnerships. 

  • Demonstrated success in managing teams, agencies, and cross-functional collaborations. 

  • Strong understanding of integrated marketing, digital outreach, and media engagement. 

  • Experience managing marketing budgets and performance measurement frameworks  

Skills Required: 

  • Strategic and creative thinking with the ability to translate ideas into impactful campaigns. 

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills. 

  • Strong project management, multitasking, and organizational abilities. 

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. 

  • Deep understanding of event planning, brand positioning, and audience engagement. 

  • Data-driven mindset with ability to measure and optimize marketing ROI. 

  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and event management platforms. 

  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver results within deadlines.
