About Lokal :

In 2018, we began with a WhatsApp group with a simple hypothesis: people in tier-2/3 towns weren’t really using the internet meaningfully yet. We believed that if we started with local content in their own language, they’d come back every day; once there was a habit and trust, that same space could naturally grow into classifieds and, eventually, something they used for almost everything online.

Job Summary : 

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Telecaller to join the Dostt team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, onboarding, and supporting hosts on the platform. You will play a critical role in expanding and nurturing our host community by building relationships, driving onboarding efforts, and ensuring hosts are set up for success on Dostt.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a persuasive approach, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to thrive in a target-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities : 

• Make outbound calls to potential and existing hosts to introduce Dostt and its opportunities.
• Identify, engage, and onboard quality hosts who align with platform guidelines and community standards.
• Follow up on leads generated through sourcing channels, referrals, campaigns, and internal databases.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with hosts throughout their journey on the platform.
• Educate hosts about platform features, policies, monetization opportunities, and best practices.
• Train and support newly onboarded hosts to ensure successful activation and engagement.
• Provide timely assistance and resolve host queries to ensure a seamless experience.
• Maintain accurate records of host interactions, onboarding status, and daily activities in internal systems.
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly onboarding, activation, and engagement targets.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth host onboarding, retention, and community growth.
• Stay updated on platform updates, host requirements, operational processes, and promotional initiatives.
• Gather host feedback and share insights with relevant teams to improve host experience and platform engagement.App.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Proven experience in Telecalling, Telesales, Customer Support, Business Development, or Onboarding roles.
• Excellent verbal communication skills in Bengali and English (Must be fluent in read, write & speak)
• Strong persuasion, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Comfortable handling objections and follow-ups.
• Basic knowledge of CRM tools, MS Excel, and computer operations.
• Ability to work independently in a target-driven environment.
• Prior experience in Sales, Telecalling, Lead Generation, creator onboarding, or service partner acquisition will be an added advantage.
