About Lokal :

In 2018, we began with a WhatsApp group with a simple hypothesis: people in tier-2/3 towns weren’t really using the internet meaningfully yet. About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Associate – Trust & Safety to help maintain a safe and trusted experience for our users. In this role, you will review and moderate user interactions, enforce community guidelines, identify policy violations, and ensure a high standard of platform safety and quality.

Working closely with the Trust & Safety team, you will play a key role in protecting users, improving moderation processes, and upholding the integrity of the Eaze community.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and moderate audio, chat, and user interactions in line with Eaze's community guidelines and safety policies.
• Identify, investigate, and take appropriate action on abusive, harmful, fraudulent, or policy-violating content and behavior.
• Escalate high-risk or sensitive cases to the relevant internal teams for timely resolution.
• Review user reports, appeals, and flagged conversations to ensure fair and consistent moderation decisions.
• Conduct quality audits of moderated conversations and maintain accurate moderation records.
• Monitor moderation trends and provide insights to improve platform safety, policies, and user experience.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, Quality, and Trust & Safety teams to strengthen moderation processes.
• Handle sensitive content with professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality while adhering to platform standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

• 1–2 years of experience in Trust & Safety, Content Moderation, Community Moderation, Quality Audit, Customer Support, or similar roles.
• Strong understanding of online safety, community guidelines, and content moderation practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in English and Telugu (Read, Write & Speak mandatory).
• Comfortable reviewing sensitive or emotionally challenging content while maintaining objectivity and professionalism.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, CRM tools, and moderation or ticketing platforms.
• High attention to detail with the ability to make consistent moderation decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Trust & Safety operations for social, chat, voice, or community-based platforms.
• Familiarity with moderation dashboards, QA tools, or ticketing systems.
• Understanding of abuse detection, fraud prevention, and policy enforcement.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and discretion.
