L3 Systems Engineer (MSP) | ConnectWise PSA | Remote

We're looking for an experienced L3 Systems Engineer with a strong background in Managed
Service Providers (MSPs) who thrives on solving complex infrastructure issues, leading technical escalations, and designing modern IT environments.If you've worked with ConnectWise PSA, Microsoft technologies, virtualization, networking, and cloud platforms and enjoy supporting multiple client environments—this could be the next step in your career.

What You'll Do: 

As a senior engineer, you'll serve as the highest level of technical support for our clients by:

• Handling Tier 3 escalations and resolving complex infrastructure issues
• Managing and prioritizing tickets through ConnectWise PSA
• Leading client onboarding, deployments, and infrastructure projects
• Designing, implementing, and supporting Windows Server and Microsoft cloud environments
• Administering Azure, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
• Managing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, File & Print Services
• Deploying and supporting VMware, Hyper-V, Failover Clusters, and virtual environments
• Designing and troubleshooting LAN, WAN, VPN, VLAN, wireless, routing, and firewall solutions
• Implementing security best practices including MFA, Conditional Access, Zero Trust, and disaster recovery
• Creating technical documentation and mentoring junior engineers
• Identifying automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency

What we're looking for:

• 3+ years working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment
• Hands-on experience with ConnectWise PSA
• Strong Windows Server administration experience (2016+)
• Microsoft 365, Azure, and Entra ID administration
• VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualization
• Advanced networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, routing, switching)
• Experience supporting multiple client environments simultaneously
• Excellent troubleshooting and customer communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a highly technical team

Nice to Have:

• ConnectWise Automate or ScreenConnect
• Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, or CompTIA certifications
• Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity
• Scripting or automation (PowerShell)
