QA Analyst Lead

At ENGIE, we are accelerating the energy transition through innovation, technology, and bold thinking. Our GenAI team is at the forefront of this transformation, building intelligent solutions that reshape how energy systems operate. We need someone who ensures quality is never an afterthought — but a mindset woven into everything we build.   As our Senior QA Analyst, you will be the quality conscience of the GenAI team. You will shape how developers and product managers think about testing from day one. This is a strategic role with real influence over delivery standards, team culture, and product excellence.   What You'll Do   - Define and champion QA standards, principles, and best practices across the GenAI portfolio. - Analyse product and feature requirements to determine the right level and type of test coverage needed. - Oversee the structure, priority, and delivery of automated test suites across multiple GenAI projects. - Coach developers and product managers on quality thinking, helping them make better decisions independently. - Challenge teams on gaps in test coverage — including edge cases, regression risk, and integration points. - Track and report on test health, coverage metrics, and quality trends across the team's delivery pipeline. - Write automated or manual tests where needed to set standards, unblock delivery, or validate critical paths.   What You Bring   - 5+ years of experience in QA, test engineering, or quality assurance within software delivery environments. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex product functionality deeply. - Proven experience defining QA strategies and automated test approaches for cross-functional teams. - Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Pytest, or Cypress. - Excellent communication skills — able to challenge and influence without being adversarial. - Comfort working remotely with a UK-based manager and collaborating across UK/Europe time zones. - Experience in AI, GenAI, data engineering, or CI/CD pipeline integration is a strong advantage.   Location   This role is based in India with a hybrid working arrangement. You will collaborate daily with a UK-based Engineering Manager and the wider UK/Europe delivery team. Reasonable overlap with UK working hours is expected.   What We Offer   - A competitive salary package with clear career progression within ENGIE's global technology organisation. - A diversity of missions across cutting-edge GenAI projects that directly support the energy transition. - Stimulating, meaningful work where your influence shapes team culture and delivery quality. - A friendly, collaborative work environment that values openness, trust, and mutual respect. - Flexibility and work-life balance through hybrid working and a team culture that respects personal time. - Access to continuous learning, professional development, and exposure to international teams.   Our Commitment   At ENGIE, every talent has a role to play in accelerating the energy transition. Make a difference and enjoy a fulfilling professional experience. Take on exciting challenges and build a career path that reflects who you are.
