As a Scheduling Coordinator, you would be responsible for the coordination of scheduling tests and procedures for Outpatient Services with possibly working form a phone queue answering calls as they come in. Additional duties include managing fax-in software from outside physician offices for documents related to upcoming appointments. This is a very busy, ever changing, fast-paced department. Hours are 9am-5:30pm Monday through Friday with a possibility of working remotely.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate the scheduling of tests and procedures for Outpatient Services.
Manage incoming calls, potentially working from a phone queue to assist patients and providers.
Process and organize documents related to upcoming appointments using fax-in software from outside physician offices.
Adapt to the dynamic, fast-paced nature of the department, handling frequent changes efficiently.
Maintain professionalism and accuracy in all scheduling and documentation tasks.
