Job description

Role: Business Development Representative

Location: East Coast, USA

Job Type: Remote except for occasional trips to Ireland once per year

Reporting to: Sales VP

Contract: 6 month contract initially with a view to permanent, part time hours initially of 20-30 hours per week with a view to full time

About the role:

Trinzo is seeking a proactive and commercially minded Business Development Representative to support lead generation, prospecting, campaign activity, and pipeline development.

Working closely with Sales Leadership, the BDR will research target accounts, identify commercial opportunities, qualify leads, and support targeted growth initiatives across Trinzo’s service areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research target accounts, industry trends, FDA activity, funding announcements, mergers and acquisitions, leadership changes, and other relevant commercial signals.

  • Build and maintain prospect lists using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Salesforce, and similar tools.

  • Execute outbound email, LinkedIn, and other prospecting campaigns.

  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads and coordinate follow-up activity.

  • Track website enquiries, webinar attendees, campaign engagement, and lead progression.

  • Support commercial campaigns across Regulatory and Quality, Global Audit Solutions, AI, Operational Excellence, and Margin Improvement.

  • Maintain accurate CRM records and report on activity, meetings generated, and pipeline contribution.

  • Work collaboratively with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Client Delivery, and subject matter experts.

Candidate Profile

  • Two to five years’ experience in business development, sales development, inside sales, lead generation, or a similar commercial role.

  • Experience in MedTech, Life Sciences, consulting, or professional services is advantageous but not essential.

  • Experience using CRM and prospecting tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or ZoomInfo.

  • Strong research, communication, organisation, and follow-up skills.

  • Commercially curious, resilient, proactive, and comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders.

Measures of Success

  • Qualified leads and meetings generated.

  • Contribution to commercial pipeline.

  • Campaign engagement and conversion.

  • Quality of account research and prospecting.

  • Timely follow-up and accurate CRM management.
