Position:  Host Sales Coordinator, Internship Placements

Reports to:  Senior Director, Internship Placements

Department:  Internships and Professional Exchanges

Location:  US-Remote

What you’ll do: 

  • Support Account Managers in the sales, onboarding, and ongoing success of host organizations participating in CIEE internship and training programs.
  • Manage a portfolio of assigned host organizations, maintaining regular communication, providing program guidance, and supporting host engagement and retention efforts.
  • Support the sales team with the CIEE Internship Posting Platform, including job posting creation, auditing of roles, updates, host training, troubleshooting, and user support, as needed.
  • Become an expert on host organization and position compliance reviews to ensure alignment with program regulations, quality standards, and participant experience goals.
  • Provide Salesforce and internal systems support to Account Managers, including account setup, data management, reporting, workflow coordination, and record maintenance.
  • Research and identify prospective host organizations within targeted industries and regions to support business development and account growth initiatives.
  • Monitor onboarding pipelines and proactively address issues, ensuring hosts are prepared to interview, hire, and successfully welcome participants.
  • Contribute to special projects and process improvement initiatives that enhance host satisfaction, operational efficiency, and program growth.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation across Salesforce and internal systems to support reporting, compliance, and account management objectives.
  • Assist with reviewing participant applications in Beacon to ensure eligibility requirements are met and applications are complete and ready for processing.
  • Support training plan review and approval workflows, working closely with host organizations to facilitate timely submissions and successful progression through onboarding and placement processes.


What you’ll bring: 

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's degree required.  
  • Minimum 1-3 years of previous customer success or customer service required  
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to effectively coordinate a large variety of activities. 
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills adaptable to all types of audiences, including participants, industry partners, international representatives, senior leaders, etc.
  • Ability to work through and resolve a wide range of issues and be an exemplary ambassador of CIEE and its mission and programs 
  • Ability to function well in a complex institutional framework, have a high tolerance for ambiguity and flexibility, and be able to respond quickly and appropriately to changing circumstances
