Job Summary:


We’re seeking a dynamic, motivated Sr. Global Marketing Manager, Trade & R+Color responsible for developing and executing commercial marketing strategies that drive awareness, trial, and growth across the professional salon channel while serving as the brand marketing lead for R+Color. This role bridges brand strategy with commercial execution, translating positioning into compelling programs that equip field sales, educators, salons and distribution partners with the tools needed to successfully launch, sell, and support the brand. As a member of the Marketing team, you will collaborate cross-functionally and report directly to the Executive Director, Marketing. 


REMOTE: This position is classified as exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). It is a fully remote role open to candidates located on the East Coast. The position requires working Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours; therefore, candidates based in the Eastern Time Zone are preferred. As this is a remote position, employees must have reliable internet access and a dedicated, distraction-free workspace.


 

What You’ll Do:

 

Essential Job Functions

  • Develop trade marketing strategies that drive salon acquisition, retention, and retail sales. 
  • Create promotional calendars and commercial activation plans. 
  • Partner with distributor marketing teams to maximize brand visibility. 
  • Lead the creation of merchandising, sampling strategies, launch kits, and in-salon marketing tools. 
  • Support all sales initiatives including presentations, events and tradeshows. 
  • Serve as the primary brand marketing lead for R+COLOR. 
  • Lead GTM planning for new shade launches and product innovations. 
  • Maintain brand positioning, messaging, and identity across all initiatives. 
  • Identify market opportunities and competitive whitespace. 
  • Other duties may be assigned. 

 

Non-Essential Job Functions

  • Assist with special projects or initiatives as needed to support departmental goals.
  • Provide backup coverage for team members during absences or peak workload periods.
  • Perform additional administrative tasks or clerical duties as assigned.
  • Support cross-departmental efforts or collaborative initiatives when required.

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred. 
  • 6+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in the professional beauty industry. 
  • Multi-channel Trade Marketing and Brand Marketing experience. 
  • Strong presentation skills. 
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time. 

 

Physical Requirements


This role requires the following physical capabilities:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to travel frequently, sometimes requiring long periods of driving or riding in a vehicle.
  • Must be able to focus on detailed work for extended periods, which may lead to eye strain or fatigue.
  • Must be able to perform tasks that require fine motor skills, including typing and using a mouse.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, often time-sensitive environment.
