Job description

As a Human Resources Business Partner at Crescent Electric, you will be a key liaison and change agent. Using your proactive communication skills, you will balance employee needs with business objectives to create integrated solutions.

Details:

  • Location: Remote-based role

  • Typical Hours/Shift: Monday-Friday; First shift

  • FLSA Status: Exempt

  • Reports To: Director of Human Resources

Primary Duties:

  • Ensure regulatory compliance with legal requirements pertinent to the day-to-day management of employees; collaborate with legal counsel when necessary.

  • Develop and nurture partnerships to provide coaching, support and guidance. Contribute to and deploy plans to build morale, improve workplace relationships, and boost productivity and retention.

  • Mediate and resolve employee relations issues; conduct thorough and objective investigations when necessary.

  • Effectively represent Crescent Electric on employment law, Worker’s Compensation, and unemployment matters.

  • Collaborate with colleagues across the HR department and other functions to develop policies, programs, and solutions. Partner with the business leaders to build the culture, plans, and success measures that make us best in class and a best place to work.

  • Deploy, coach to and provide input on workforce and succession planning as well as plans business unit restructuring and optimal organizational structure.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience and/or training (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

  • Current knowledge of legal requirements related to human resources and employee management, including workers’ compensation, union relations, and federal and state employment laws.
