We are the North American division of Metrohm AG (Herisau, Switzerland), a world leader in precision instruments and solutions for chemical analysis. We are currently seeking a Titration Sales Representative to lead and grow our customer base in the Northern Illinois and Iowa territory, ideally based in the Greater Chicago area. This region includes a range of high-potential states and industries ready for your expertise.

What You’ll Do

As a Titration Sales Representative, you will:

  • Develop and manage your own sales territory focused on titration solutions.
  • Drive the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing—to exceed growth targets.
  • Cultivate strong customer relationships in sectors such as pharma, chemicals, polymers, petrochemicals, personal care and food/beverage.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to tailor solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and product demos to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Identify ways to streamline the sales process and maximize revenue.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities to ensure consistent growth.

 

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
  • 3+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably to analytical laboratories.
  • Hands-on knowledge or sales experience with titration equipment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships.
  • Familiarity with structured sales methodologies (e.g., Miller Heiman) is a plus.
  • Industry knowledge in pharma, chemicals, polymers, cosmetics, or related fields.


Earnings Potential

Enjoy a base salary with additional commission opportunities. Your offer will reflect your experience, capabilities, and the value you bring to the team. $85,000 - $100,000. Pay range included here represents an estimated base pay range only.

Additional Requirements

  • Must pass a background check, education/employment verification, drug screening (including marijuana), and have an insurable driving record.
