Overview: The Imaging Scheduling Specialist I is responsible for screening, scheduling, and directing patients to appropriate locations and services within the Imaging Department. Responsibilities: Receives all incoming phone calls and facilitates the scheduling of imaging procedures. Provides patients with division specific patient education materials to ensure they are prepared for scheduled tests/procedures. Conducts financial discussion with patients and/or provider's office regarding fees for imaging procedures according to ABN and pre-authorization guidelines. Maintains department patient schedule, ensures blocks are full and cancelled appointments are rescheduled. Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is $18.19per hour - $29.47per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
