CUSTOMER

ConnectWise is a US-based software company specializing in IT service management solutions for Managed Service Providers. Founded in 1982 and headquartered in Tampa, Florida, the company delivers products that help IT providers automate business operations, manage client infrastructure, and improve technical support processes for customers worldwide.

PROJECT

You will work on BrightGauge, a ConnectWise product designed to help IT service providers visualize and monitor business performance through dashboards and reporting tools. The project focuses on expanding automation capabilities across web UI, APIs, and platform integrations while supporting migration to a new technical platform.

Job Description

  • Extend existing web UI and API automation frameworks with new test scenarios
  • Collaborate with the team during migration to a new platform
  • Design and develop Python-based automation frameworks
  • Select appropriate technologies and approaches for automation solutions
  • Integrate automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines
  • Develop, execute, and maintain automated tests
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to investigate issues and improve testing strategies
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and quality reporting activities
  • Mentor Junior specialists and support knowledge sharing within the team

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in test automation
  • Strong Python skills with the ability to write maintainable and scalable test code
  • Strong experience with Playwright
  • Strong experience in Web API testing using REST and HTTP protocols
  • Solid understanding of test design techniques
  • Strong knowledge of software design patterns and engineering principles
  • Experience building automation frameworks from scratch
  • Practical experience with functional, regression, smoke, sanity, UI, integration, E2E, API, localization, and cross-browser testing
  • Good AWS knowledge and understanding of cloud-based architectures
  • Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI
  • Strong Git workflows and collaboration practices
  • Upper-Intermediate level of English

WILL BE A PLUS:

  • Strong experience with Selenium and Pytest
  • Strong TypeScript and JavaScript knowledge
  • Hands-on experience with Cypress
  • Experience with Robot Framework
