About the role:

We are looking for a Tech Recruiter to own hiring across our data organization, including Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, Data Science, and related data platform roles.

You will manage the full recruiting lifecycle, partner closely with technical hiring managers, and build strong pipelines of senior data professionals who can operate in a fast-growing, product-focused environment.

What you'll do:

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for Data Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, and Data Platform roles.

  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, candidate profiles, and interview processes.

  • Build targeted sourcing strategies and talent maps for priority searches.

  • Screen candidates for technical relevance, seniority, motivation, and business impact.

  • Manage candidate communication from initial outreach through offer and closing.

  • Advise hiring teams on talent availability, compensation, and market conditions.

  • Keep pipeline data, documentation, and role context accurate and up to date.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of technical recruiting experience.

  • Experience hiring Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Analytics Engineers, or related technical talent.

  • Understanding of modern data teams, infrastructure, pipelines, analytics, and production data systems.

  • Strong sourcing, screening, candidate management, and closing skills.

  • Ability to partner effectively with technical hiring managers.

  • Excellent written and verbal Russian.

  • Excellent written and verbal English.

Nice to have:

  • Experience hiring for AI, ML, consumer technology, or high-growth startups.

  • Familiarity with data warehouses, distributed systems, experimentation, recommendation systems, or analytics platforms.

  • Experience recruiting senior individual contributors and technical leaders.

  • Experience using Ashby, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, or technical communities for sourcing.

Success in 6 months:

  • Build consistent pipelines for priority data roles.

  • Develop repeatable sourcing strategies and talent maps.

  • Earn the trust of hiring managers as a strong recruiting partner.

  • Maintain an organized and well-documented recruiting process.

  • Close several high-priority hires or build strong late-stage pipelines.

This is a fully remote role that requires occasional business travel to our office in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
