Cloud / DevOps Engineer (Remote, USA)

Location: Remote, USA
Employment type: Contract
Indicative rate: $90–$100/hr

We are seeking skilled Cloud / DevOps Engineers to join our dynamic team in a remote capacity. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure while ensuring the reliability and performance of applications. You will work closely with development teams to establish CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes, leveraging your expertise in cloud platforms and DevOps practices. This contract position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to contribute to critical projects from anywhere in the USA. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in cloud technologies, automation, and a passion for improving system reliability and performance.

Required qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles
  • Proficiency in AWS and Azure cloud environments
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code using Terraform
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible or similar
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues
  • Experience with Power Platform technologies is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with site reliability engineering (SRE) practices
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash
  • Experience with VMware administration
