Job description

EviCore is currently hiring for an Operations Senior Analyst. The Operations Senior Analyst leads and provides subject matter expertise in collaboration with client services, claims, implementations, clinical, non-clinical, and IT organizations to manage new and existing workflows. Monitors overall operations including review of internal reports and ad-hoc data analysis associated with operational workflows. Identifies ways to improve or enhance operational performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Has proficient working knowledge of business operations
  • Has understanding of utilization management, claims operations, IT operations, and call center operations
  • Develops subject matter expertise in the technical and operational aspects of the company
  • Collaborate with business and technical partners to gather, evaluate, document, and communicate business and functional requirements
  • Provides subject matter expertise during the implementation of new clients by integrating workflows into current operations
  • Assists with functionality and regression testing for program specific enhancements, implementations and code
  • Provides operational expertise to client services and client operations managers in research and resolution of issues and requests
  • Research and triage production issues, performs root cause analysis, and recommends corrective actions and process improvements
  • Build presentations and completes analyses to assist the program lead in communications to senior management
  • Researches, designs, develops and maintains new projects and business solutions
  • Translates business requests into system rules; evaluates existing functionality for operational efficiencies and maintains historical record of system development
  • Documents and maintains business workflows and requirements, or supports central teams that manage these functions
  • Coordinates with key leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to execute projects and implementation activities
  • Assists in preparing internal and external training and direction for clinical and non-clinical staff
  • Supports the development of key performance metric portfolios as it relates to projects and major company initiatives to include metric development, dashboards, and valuation support

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Business, Health Services, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field of study

Minimum Experience:

  • 1+ years, demonstrated leadership potential and aptitude for working in technology, operations, project management and/or healthcare environments

Required Skills:

  • Experience gathering, documenting, and communicating business and functional requirements
  • Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and business stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate business needs and recommend solutions
  • Must have proficiency with MS Word, Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Basic experience writing and modifying SQL queries for troubleshooting, research, and analysis
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills
  • Experience identifying process improvement opportunities and documenting workflow enhancements

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, or similar work management tools
  • Experience supporting client implementations or large operational initiatives
  • Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing
  • Experience supporting operational platforms, application enhancements, system implementations, and technology-enabled business processes
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Visio

This role is not eligible to be performed in the state of Colorado.


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 54,100 - 90,100 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
