Kids Help Phone (KHP) is Canada’s Unlock The Hope Youth Charity. We’re the first and Canada's only national 24/7, free, confidential, and multilingual e-mental health service for youth and a global leader in innovation for youth and their well-being.
The Inuit Engagement Coordinator (IEC) will work closely with Indigenous communities with focus on Inuit communities, organizations, and partners to advance Finding Hope: Kids Help Phone’s Action Plan for Supporting First Nations, Inuit and Métis Young People. The Inuit Engagement Coordinator will increase access to, and awareness of Kids Help Phone services and other resources among Indigenous youth and communities. The IEC will support volunteers in Weaving Threads: An Indigenous Engagement Program, coordinate sessions of Brighter Days: An Indigenous Wellness Program supported by Sun Life, and support participating in other KHP Indigenous programs and initiatives. The IEC will also support Kids Help Phone’s broader Indigenous initiatives through volunteer recruitment, donor support, event and meeting coordination, and Indigenous advocacy efforts.
