Job description

Join the company that’s building the telemetry infrastructure for the AI era. At Cribl, we partner with IT and Security teams at many of the world’s biggest enterprises, including half of the Fortune 100, to bridge the gap between AI ambition and infrastructure reality. As the AI Platform for Telemetry, we give customers the choice, control, and flexibility to manage and analyze telemetry for both humans and agents, so they can build what’s next.

We’re one of the fastest‑growing private companies and a leading player in a massive, fast‑moving market. With a global workforce, we’re remote‑first and grounded in a simple idea: software is a people business. Cribl is the place where curious, collaborative people can do their best work, grow fast, and bring their full selves to the herd.

Why You'll Love This Role

The Cribl Product Management team sits at the center of the entire company, responsible for ensuring that the product strategy and execution aligns closely with our customers’ needs and company values. Product Managers at Cribl are more than just backlog babysitters, we go beyond delivery of features and ensure that we are creating value, lowering barriers of entry and accelerating adoption through the entire customer journey. Cribl Product Managers are truly cross-functional and require technical depth, value user experience and work alongside marketing, sales, services and many other teams to continue Cribl’s leading position in the IT, Security and Observability markets.

As An Active Member Of Our Team, You Will...
  • Guide the product roadmap by living in the product - we’re a hands on keyboard PM team
  • Work across the Product team to build consensus on experiences and services that will be shared by our entire product portfolio - PM is not a solo sport here at Cribl!
  • Utilize data to conduct market research, assess competition, and generate product insights that inform decision-making required for building AI-native products.
  • Partner with other product and engineering teams to consistently focus on creating high-value AI products and experiences that align with Cribl’s mission of delivering transformative user experiences to IT and Security practitioners
  • Work with the volumes of data we have about our products and users to build plans based on hard data with an eye on how to improve over time
  • Align with field teams and customers on key services and experiences to grow the value of our products.
  • Always be working with customers, we are nothing without our customers
  • Help guide and learn from our team of experts in engineering and our sales teams. We have one of the best field teams in the business!
  • We are a remote-first company and work happens across many time-zones - you may be required to occasionally perform duties outside your standard working hours

If You've Got It - We Want It
  • Experience bringing AI-backed or AI-native products to market
  • Experience working with data tools like Snowflake/Databricks/Redshift for transforming analytics and telemetry data into actionable insights
  • 5 or more years in a Technical Product Manager role or similar experience
  • In depth experience building and launching products with major cloud providers
  • Must be a strong communicator: writer and reader. As a remote first company this is our primary way of collaborating.
  • You love being a technical Product Manager - you spend time building labs, learning new technologies and are never satisfied with what you know today
  • Experience working in remote first companies and know how to navigate a large distributed team
  • Background working with Enterprise data products
  • Experience with a large variety of IT and Security tools and technologies and how best to integrate and onboard data
  • Experience working with products that are deployed across multiple types of environments and infrastructure (Cloud, on-prem, hybrid)
  • No fear! Speak your mind
  • Good jokes, or maybe better, bad jokes
  • Able to demo product at a high level as well as go into the details - not just why but how it was done
