In Bratislava, we are actively seeking Data Engineer specialized in Databricks to join our team and support the development of scalable data solutions. The role focuses on building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines, data processing workflows, and modern cloud-based data platforms.

This is you

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer

• Strong experience with Databricks, preferably in Azure Databricks

• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipeline development

• Good knowledge of Python and SQL

• Experience with PySpark

• Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) is an advantage

• Experience working with Jupyter Notebooks is a plus

• Ability to communicate directly with clients and gather technical requirements

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Native-level proficiency in Czech or Slovak, with strong English communication skills

Nice to have

• Databricks certification

This is your role

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines using Databricks

• Build and optimize data processing solutions in an Azure environment

• Collaborate directly with the client to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions

• Develop and optimize data transformations using PySpark

• Work with Azure Data Factory and Jupyter Notebooks where applicable

• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across data pipelines

• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data engineering solutions and best practices

• The basic salary component from 3 800 EUR gross per day - the exact amount of the salary depends on the actual knowledge and experience, qualifications and expertise of the candidate.
