We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Test to drive test automation and quality best 

practices across our platform. You’ll partner closely with our quality engineers, software 

developers, product managers, and information security team to ensure our software meets 

the highest standards for reliability and security to serve our patients and customers. 


This is a highly collaborative role that combines quality strategy, scalable technical execution, 

process/change management, and mentorship. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable 

working thoughtfully through complex technical challenges as they are leading change. 


What you’ll do: 

  •  Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks; create technical 
  • solutions, documentation, and training resources to allow our QA engineers to 
  • easily create scenarios within these frameworks 
  •  Own end-to-end test strategy for our platform, including functional, integration, 
  • regression, performance, and security testing 
  •  Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with our platform 
  • engineering team 
  •  Perform load, stress, and performance testing on high-throughput processes 
  •  Mentor QA engineers; drive engineering-wide best practices for testability and 
  • quality 
  •  Perform investigation with root cause analysis, and close the loop with new 
  • automated coverage 
Requirements

Technical Experience:

  •  5–8+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong focus on test automation and quality engineering 
  •  Proficiency in modern programming languages - Node.js, React, TypeScript, and Python experience preferred 
  •  Deep experience with test automation frameworks - Playwright or similar preferred 
  •  Strong API testing experience (RESTful APIs, GraphQL) 
  •  Experience with CI/CD tools and integrating test automation within CI/CD frameworks – Github Actions experience preferred 
  •  Solid understanding of relational databases; comfort writing complex SQL, testing data shape and testing database performance impacts 
  •  Experience testing distributed, cloud-based systems - AWS w/ Docker & Kubernetes experience preferred. 
  •  Knowledge of and experience testing event-driven architecture patterns (Kafka or similar)

  •  Excellent communication and ability to convey technical concepts clearly 
  •  Passion for best practices in software development and continuous improvement

PAA is based out of Dallas, TX and this role will be performed remotely. This role will require 

0-5% travel for internal meetings or client interactions.
