Job Summary and Responsibilities:
  • The Business Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless and efficient delivery of services, maintaining compliance with client service level agreements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance organizational performance. This is a vital, client-facing, team-supporting role within the highly effective global team that operates and enhances healthcare technical solutions. This is a remote position within the State of New Jersey,
Qualifications:

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day business operations for all areas of delivery related to Provider Screening, Enrollment and Monitoring, including:
    • Document Management and Workflow Performance
    • Provider Data Management
    • Provider Support Services (training and site visits)
    • Provider Enrollment Call Center
  • Directs Operations functional teams across the MMIS business and works independent of supervision.
  • Oversees programs with a typical team size of 35-50 resources, oversees leaders/direct reports within the operations.
  • Oversees compliance to Service Level Agreements, includes monitoring and tracking client specific SLAs to ensure SLAs are met. If an SLA is not met, works with teams on corrective actions to prevent missing SLAs in the future.
  • Works closely with subcontractors (when applicable) and vendors and provides input for subcontractor and vendor contracts.
  • Fosters and demonstrates thought leadership in improving operations and collaborates with systems in identifying improvements.
  • Develops relevant metrics for the Operations function and uses metrics as a basis for communication and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge of operations methodologies, best practices, and procedures; and applies them to projects to ensure that Operations team objectives are achieved.
  • Interfaces with senior management and can be called upon to provide industry best practices.
  • Partners with clients, develops effective collaborative client relationships and analyzes issues and problems from the client perspective.
  • Keeps abreast of new technology and market developments.
  • Closely coordinates with Operations Leaders accountable for Change Requests, Project Management, Application System Analysis, Software Quality Assurance, Enterprise Information Services, Delivery Services, and the Enterprise Program Management Office.
  • Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules.

Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience
  • 5+ years of operations leadership experience at large complex healthcare organizations
  • Preferred Medicaid systems/MMIS/Provider Module experience
  • Preferred experience leading Provider Screening, Enrollment and Monitoring
  • Highly organized with analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written) with strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Excellent client relationship skills
  • This role may require up to 25% travel

Experience in Lieu of Degree

 

For non-clinical roles, or when not required by the contract specifically, the Company acknowledges that practical, hands-on experience can provide skills and competencies equivalent to formal education. As such, in cases where a Bachelor's degree may be required, the Company will accept a minimum of six (6) years of directly relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree. In instances where the candidate has an Associate's degree, the Company will accept a minimum of three (3) years of directly relevant professional experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree.

 

Compensation

 

The pay for this position is listed below.

 

"Based on our compensation philosophy, an applicant’s position placement in the pay range will depend on various considerations, such as years of applicable experience and skill level."

Pay Range: USD $93,040.00 - USD $116,300.00 /Yr.
