NPO Operations & Growth Coordinator

This is a remote position.

Supporting systemic change and operational scaling for a non-profit organisation dedicated to improving the lives of children living with epilepsy, this part-time remote contract position serves as the operational anchor of the foundation. Working 20 hours per week under a 12-month fixed-term contract structure, the role translates strategic goals into practical, organized execution across international stakeholder networks.

The primary outcome expected is the reduction of executive operational load alongside the systematic growth of community platforms, fundraising capability, grant submissions, and multi-sector partnerships. Acting as the direct right-hand support to the Founder & CEO, the successful candidate coordinates cross-functional projects, builds repeatable digital workflows, manages social media channels, and assists with event logistics. Key Responsibilities

• Executive & Operational Coordination: Serve as operational support to the Founder & CEO, managing project timelines, action trackers, meeting preparations, board governance administration, and external supplier coordination.
  

• Fundraising & Grant Management: Research UK and international grant opportunities, prepare funding applications, track application pipelines, and develop sponsorship proposals and donor stewardship materials.
  

• Partnership Development: Conduct background research on potential partner organisations, maintain CRM partnership records, draft briefing documents, and track post-meeting action items across healthcare, corporate, and non-profit sectors.
  

• Community Engagement: Support the launch and day-to-day coordination of an online community platform, onboard volunteers, manage intern activities, and gather lived-experience stories from families.
  

• Marketing & Digital Communications: Manage social media presences, produce newsletters, write website content, design marketing assets using digital design platforms, and coordinate email distribution campaigns.
  

• Event Logistics Delivery: Assist with the end-to-end planning and execution of founder dinners, webinars, community gatherings, and corporate events, managing venue logistics, speaker details, guest registration, and post-event follow-up.
  

• AI & Workflow Automation: Implement digital tools and AI applications to establish repeatable workflows, automate routine administrative tasks, and improve overall operational efficiency
  

Requirements

• Organisational & Project Mastery: Exceptional organisational discipline with demonstrated experience managing multiple competing priorities independently.
  

• Linguistic & Communication Excellence: Outstanding written English capabilities with strong attention to detail and proven relationship-building skills.
  

• Digital & AI Literacy: High digital literacy, including hands-on experience using Canva and artificial intelligence applications such as ChatGPT for content creation and workflow execution.
  

• Social Media & Research Competency: Strong social media execution experience alongside research capabilities.
  

Desirable Requirements

• Experience within a charity, non-profit, healthcare, startup, social enterprise, or executive support background.
  

• Prior experience in fundraising, grant writing, or event management.
  

• Experience with volunteer coordination, CRM platforms, website management, or email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp).
  

• Basic video editing capabilities.
  

• Familiarity with UK healthcare structures or the NHS.
  

• Experience working remotely with international teams.
