  • In-depth knowledge of Epic Hospital Billing (HB) and/or Professional Billing (PB), with the ability to understand and articulate how a Beaker implementation impacts an organization with an existing live Epic revenue cycle

  • Ability to confidently discuss Epic build, workflows, and operational processes while connecting technical decisions to downstream revenue cycle and patient access impacts

  • Working knowledge of Epic Patient Access applications (e.g., Cadence, Prelude, Grand Central) and an understanding of how Beaker interfaces with registration, scheduling, and front-end workflows

  • Strong revenue cycle acumen, with the ability to identify operational risks, ask probing questions, and guide discussions around future-state workflows and best practices

  • Excellent organization and project management skills, including thorough documentation, clear follow-up, action item tracking, and holding project teams accountable for deliverables

  • Executive presence and facilitation skills, with the confidence to lead meetings involving client revenue cycle, operational, and IT leadership while driving productive discussions and decision-making

  • Ability to synthesize information from multiple workstreams, identify cross-functional impacts, and maintain a big-picture perspective across Revenue Cycle, Patient Access, Beaker, and supporting Epic applications

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly understand unfamiliar workflows, identify gaps, and recommend practical next steps

  • Self-sufficient and proactive, requiring minimal day-to-day direction while appropriately escalating risks and issues

  • Ability to translate between technical and operational stakeholders, ensuring Epic analysts, revenue cycle leaders, laboratory leadership, and executive sponsors remain aligned on project objectives, workflow decisions, and implementation impacts
