Reports to: Sr Dir, Global Sales Excellence
Role Objective
The Specialist, Global Sales Excellence supports the day-to-day administration, adoption, and continuous improvement of sales tools and processes. This role provides operational support to sales teams, analyzes adoption and performance data, assists with training and communications, and works with cross-functional partners to resolve issues and enhance the seller experience.
Responsibilities
6-12 Month Mandate
Strong understanding of global sales processes, tools, and operating rhythms.
Established resource for reporting, analytics, and field support.
Consistent delivery of executive-ready dashboards and insights.
Increased adoption of key sales excellence initiatives.
Meaningful contributions to pipeline visibility, process consistency, and sales productivity improvements.
Established reputation as a proactive partner to regional sales leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
Sales Tools Administration & User Support
Provide first-line support for sales tool inquiries, issues, and user requests.
Assist in maintaining CRM and other sales technology platforms.
Support user onboarding, access management, and system configuration activities.
Document and communicate tool updates, enhancements, and best practices.
Adoption & Enablement Support
Support training sessions, onboarding programs, and user communications.
Collect and document feedback from sales users regarding tools and processes.
Monitor adoption metrics and identify trends requiring additional support or training.
Assist in developing user guides, FAQs, and training materials.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards related to sales tool usage and adoption.
Analyze data quality and identify issues affecting reporting accuracy.
Track key performance indicators and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Support ad hoc analysis requests from Sales Excellence and Sales Operations teams.
Process Improvement
Document current-state processes and identify opportunities for simplification.
Support testing of system enhancements and new functionality.
Track enhancement requests and maintain issue logs.
Assist with implementation activities for tool and process improvements.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Partner with Sales Operations, Enablement, and Digital/DT teams to support ongoing initiatives.
Gather business requirements and document user needs.
Coordinate meetings, communications, and follow-up actions for project activities.
Escalate complex issues and risks as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Marketing, Analytics, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in Sales Operations, CRM Administration, Commercial Excellence, Business Analytics, or related functions.
Experience working with CRM platforms and reporting tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Salesforce reporting, or similar business intelligence tools.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
The salary range for this role is $93,000.00-$115,000.00. Pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
