Job Summary:

Responsible for managing and servicing key Health Plan accounts while supporting membership growth through proactive account management and relationship development. Partners with internal leadership, operations, and administrative teams to resolve account issues, address client needs, and ensure a high level of service and satisfaction. Maintains a strong understanding of self-funded and fully insured health plans to effectively support clients and brokers

Job Duties:

Licensure Required: Health Insurance License 

Regular travel is required to meet with clients, brokers, and key stakeholders throughout the Geisinger footprint.

  • Represents the Health Plan as contact person for designated groups.
  • Coordinates group renewals, which include rate submission, premium quotes, post enrollment paperwork and actual employee meetings.
  • Provides effective and consistent service to assigned client base including brokers.
  • Increases membership and develops liaison with selected critical accounts.
  • Accentuated service to these select accounts will be a priority.
  • Organizes and conducts enrollment communications and activities.
  • Projects image of the Health Plan's dedication to professional excellence.
  • Maintains relationship with Geisinger Health Plan organizational entities, which contribute to proper membership services.
  • Attends meetings as needed.
  • Keeps informed on managed care industry including competition, trends and legislative issues.
  • Implements policies and procedures related to operational support of employer groups.
  • Develops, maintains and executes strategies to position the Health Plan to maintain profitable business.
  • Performs on-going maintenance to database according to current requirements.
