Position Summary

TriVista Managers play a key role in the delivery of consulting engagements for Private Equity clients, their portfolio companies and corporations. They lead the development of solutions to our clients’ most complex and impactful business problems with a focus on strategy, operations, and enterprise value improvement.


Managers are responsible for managing a team of consultants and associates on variety of assessment and execution engagements including pre-sale due diligence, financial and operational performance improvement to help clients optimize supply chain, footprint, manufacturing, and information technology operations. In this role, the manager will be the on-the-ground leader, working with and leading both TriVista and client teams by coordinating the day-to-day management of the team and executing portions of the project all while keeping the customer’s needs and high-level goals of the project in mind.


Managers have extensive experience working in a project manager capacity in either an operations role as an industry practitioner or as a consultant in a large global or boutique consulting firm.


TriVista’s Managers represent the image and credibility of the firm. Their roles require regular interface with clients that include Private Equity investors, boards of directors, and corporate level executive team members. Excellent spoken and written communication skills are essential.


While Managers primary focus will be client engagements, they are also expected to support a wide variety of internal projects including offering development, training of junior employees, and business development activities.


Ability and willingness to undertake up to 75% travel domestically and internationally is required.

  

Responsibilities 

Project Delivery 

  • Manage TriVista engagements day to day through the creation and monitoring of project scope, timeline, budget, and deliverables while meeting the needs and expectations of colleagues and customers 
  • Drive projects to completion by overseeing, managing, assisting, or executing project activities, workstreams and/or deliverables 
  • Identify, quantify, and prioritize enterprise value improvement opportunities and solutions 
  • Manage associates and consultants through data gathering and analysis and perform the technical QA of work done by the team 
  • Utilize various project management tools and best practices such as Gantt Charts, budget, risk assessment, work breakdown structures, RACI’s etc. 
  • Develop high-quality written deliverable documents 

Practice Specific Responsibilities 

  • Demonstrate knowledge in industry and technology trends, enterprise applications, ERP platforms, cybersecurity risks, and digital transformations 
  • Clearly communicate vision of what “state of the art” looks like across technology systems, processes, and operating models 
  • Assist in TriVista practice development through the identification, development, and rollout of standard tools, templates, and methodologies 
  • Conduct independent research to support fact-based analysis and informed experienced-based qualitative assessment 
  • Lead client assessments and transformation technology initiatives focused on enterprise applications, ERP platforms, systems architecture, cybersecurity, technology risk, and IT organizational effectiveness 
  • Support post-merger integration initiatives, particularly as they relate to enterprise systems, ERP, cybersecurity, and technology integration 
  • Translate technical findings into practical business recommendations that improve performance, reduce risk, and support enterprise value creation 
  • Collaborate with team members in other practices to ensure relevant and important project information is shared efficiently and effectively 

Business Development Support 

  • Manage daily client relationships and interaction including responding quickly to emails, remediating risks & issues, and presenting check-ins & final deliverables 
  • Assist firm business development through the creation of work-plans, pricing estimates, and risk assessments as requested 

People Development 

  • Mentor and lead teams of consultants and associates through project engagements as well as internal growth opportunities 
  • Supports driving behaviors consistent with our values, while providing constructive feedback to team members 
  • Provide frequent and authentic feedback to direct and indirect reports 
  • Support firm training efforts by assisting to identify training needs and train staff as appropriate 

Firm Development 

  •  Participate in internal projects that build firm capability

Requirements

  

Skills and Qualifications 

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant industry and/or consulting experience and significant project experience in information technology 
  • Minimum of 5 years of results-driven project leadership 
  • Deep and balanced understanding of IT and business strategy, operations, and value drivers 
  • Proficient user of PowerPoint, Excel, Word 
  • Project management experience leading complex projects and project teams
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to manage, coach, and inspire teams to achieve business goals and objectives 
  • Familiarity assessing, designing and executing system architecture, ERP / enterprise systems, technology risk, and digital transformation 
  • Experience supporting post-merger integration (PMI) involving enterprise systems, ERP, cybersecurity and technology integration 
  • Ability to assess technology and business process and translate technical findings into business recommendations for an executive audience 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills – able to clearly express ideas and recommendations to a broad spectrum of client employees from manufacturing personnel to CEOs 
  • Solid financial and accounting acumen and understanding to support collaboration with client’s finance departments 
  • Solid business acumen and the ability to translate TriVista analyses and opportunities to the client management team to gain support of initiatives 
  • Self-motivated with high initiative and drive to complete assignments on time with exceptional quality 
  • Excellent presentation and written communication skills 
  • Passionate attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Highly organized and able to balance multiple priorities 
  • Authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis 

Education 

  • 4-year degree, preferably with a focus in technology, business, or related field and/or combination of education and relevant experience 
  • Relevant certifications or training in enterprise / ERP systems, cybersecurity, project delivery, technology transformation, or post-merger integration are a plus Lean and/or Six Sigma Certification or ability to obtain once employed 
  • MBA preferred 


Pay Transparency Statement The salary range for this position reflects our good-faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base pay for the role at the time of posting. The actual pay offered may vary based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, location, and market conditions. For example, a candidate with the minimum required experience and qualifications may receive an offer near the lower end of the range, while a candidate with extensive experience and specialized expertise may receive an offer near the top of the range. In addition to base salary, employees are eligible for performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package. 


Base range between $145,000-$186,249. Exact compensation may vary on skills, experience, and location.
