The starting base pay range for this position is $85,000-$95,000. Individual compensation will be commensurate with candidate's experience. This position is eligible for full benefits, as well as the Manager level annual incentive bonus program.
Summary of Position:
We’re looking for a Product Manager to own a portfolio of customer-facing digital experiences that help users discover, explore, and engage with AVIXA’s products, content, and community.
This role sits at the intersection of content, community, and professional development, helping shape how AV professionals discover knowledge, connect with peers, and advance their careers through AVIXA’s digital ecosystem.
This role will support key digital platforms including AVIXA.org, AVIXA TV, and AVIXA Xchange, helping create seamless experiences that connect users with industry knowledge, education, events, community discussions, certification programs, and membership offerings. This role is focused on the beginning of a user’s journey with us, starting with acquisition and awareness, and driving to engagement.
You’ll work closely with Engineering, UX, Content, Marketing, and business stakeholders to define product strategy, prioritize opportunities, and deliver features that improve the customer experience and drive measurable business outcomes.
Success in this role comes from understanding customer behavior, using data to make informed product decisions, and continuously improving digital experiences through experimentation and iteration.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the product roadmap and feature development for AVIXA’s core audience-facing digital experiences focused on discovery, exploration, growth and engagement, including AVIXA.org, AVIXA TV, and AVIXA Xchange.
- Define product vision and priorities aligned with customer needs and business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for new features and product enhancements through customer research, behavioral analytics, and stakeholder collaboration.
- Write epics, define acceptance criteria, and maintain a prioritized product backlog.
- Partner with Engineering, UX, Content, and Marketing teams to deliver customer-focused digital experiences.
- Lead product discovery, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies.
- Define and monitor product KPIs using analytics platforms such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, Google Analytics, or similar.
- Use data, experimentation, and A/B testing to optimize digital experiences, increase engagement, and improve customer journeys.
- Collaborate with Product Managers responsible for education, membership, webinars, certification, and other downstream experiences to create seamless end-to-end customer journeys.
- Partner with content teams to optimize experiences & build on a headless CMS, preferably Storyblok.
- Communicate product vision, roadmap progress, and business outcomes to stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 4 years of Product Management or Product Ownership experience delivering audience-facing digital products or web experiences.
- Experience owning product features from discovery through delivery.
- Strong understanding of Agile product development methodologies.
- Experience partnering with Engineering, UX, Design, Marketing, Content, and business stakeholders.
- Experience using analytics platforms such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar to inform product decisions.
- Experience optimizing digital experiences using customer insights, behavioral analytics, and experimentation. Bonus points for working on global and/or non-US products or experiences.
- Experience writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and managing product backlogs.
- Strong analytical thinking, prioritization, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Passion for building intuitive digital products that solve real customer problems.
- Experience with headless CMS platforms such as Storyblok, Contentful, or Sanity.
- Experience managing website, portal, SaaS, or other customer-facing digital products.
- Experience improving user acquisition, digital engagement, content discoverability, or conversion.
- Familiarity with A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and product analytics.
- Understanding of SEO, accessibility, and Core Web Vitals.
- Experience using Jira, ClickUp, or similar product management tools.
- Bonus points for reading, understanding and/or speaking non-English languages, particularly Spanish, German, Portuguese or Italian.
