Job description

At Rehire, we are partnering with a global company to find an experienced AEM Engineer (Adobe Experience Manager) to join an enterprise-level digital transformation project. We're looking for a highly skilled professional with strong expertise in Adobe Experience Manager, Java development, and enterprise integrations to build scalable, secure, and high-performing digital experience solutions.

Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, customize, and maintain enterprise applications using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

· Build reusable AEM components, templates, dialogs, workflows, and services.

· Develop and customize solutions using AEM Sites, AEM Forms, AEM Assets, Content Fragments, and Experience Fragments.

· Design and implement Adaptive Forms, Form Data Models (FDM), Document Generation, and Interactive Communications.

· Develop workflows and document processing capabilities within AEM Forms.

· Integrate AEM with enterprise applications through REST/SOAP APIs, databases, Salesforce, SAP, and other third-party systems.

· Develop and maintain OSGi services, Sling Models, Servlets, and REST APIs.

· Collaborate with architects, UI/UX designers, business analysts, QA teams, and developers throughout the project lifecycle.

· Participate in solution design, code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

· Ensure solutions follow Adobe best practices for scalability, security, and maintainability.

· Support deployments, production issue resolution, and technical documentation.

· Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

· 7+ years of software development experience.

· 5+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

· Strong experience with AEM 6.x and/or AEM as a Cloud Service.

· Hands-on experience with AEM Forms, including Adaptive Forms, Form Data Models (FDM), Document Generation, Interactive Communications, and Workflows.

· Strong expertise in AEM Sites, Editable Templates, Components, Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, and Multi-Site Manager (MSM).

· Strong experience with Java and J2EE development.

· Solid knowledge of Apache Sling, Apache Felix, OSGi, JCR, CRXDE, and HTL (Sightly).

· Experience developing Sling Models, Servlets, Filters, and OSGi Services.

· Experience with Git, Maven, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, and enterprise integrations.

· Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.

· Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

· Professional working proficiency in English (C1 or equivalent).

About the Position:

· Work Model: 100% Remote (Latam)

· Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

· Contract Type: 6-month contract with the possibility of extension.
