About the Team

The Business Services Sales East Region team partners with organizations to address complex risk challenges and deliver measurable business impact. We are focused on helping customers mitigate and manage risk while identifying opportunities to grow, improve efficiency, and strengthen trust across their customer relationships.

About the Role

The Vice President, East Region Sales will play a critical leadership role in driving revenue growth, customer engagement, and sales execution across the region. This leader will oversee sales leaders, sales representatives, and support resources focused on serving mid-market customers, ensuring the team is aligned to business priorities, equipped to succeed, and accountable for delivering against revenue targets.

This role is responsible for developing and executing regional sales strategies, managing day-to-day sales operations, strengthening customer relationships, and collaborating across market planning, marketing, product, operations, analytics, and training teams. The ideal candidate will bring strong commercial leadership, disciplined execution, and the ability to lead teams through fast-changing business and regulatory environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with senior-level decision makers and influencers across an assigned portfolio of customer accounts, including mid-market and strategic customers within a defined geography or industry focus.
  • Leading the identification, development, and closure of new sales opportunities, including oversight of pricing strategy, proposal development, and legal negotiations.
  • Achieving revenue targets by expanding customer relationships, increasing account-level revenue, and driving sustained growth across the region.
  • Conducting regular strategy and business review meetings with senior customer stakeholders to understand their priorities and align LexisNexis Risk Solutions capabilities to their needs.
  • Providing leadership, coaching, and direction through sales managers to ensure consistent execution, strong pipeline discipline, and effective team performance.
  • Ensuring accurate sales and revenue forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting.
  • Contributing to the overall success of National Cross Market Sales by partnering across teams, sharing best practices, and supporting enterprise priorities.
  • Executing functional business plans and contributing to functional strategy decisions in alignment with divisional goals and priorities.
  • Performing all other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience, including experience leading through managers or in a second-line management capacity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, sales management, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • Must permanently reside within the region or being willing to relocate.
  • Extensive experience working with customers in the financial services industry.
  • Demonstrated success formulating and executing strategic sales plans that drive revenue growth and customer expansion.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills.
  • Experience selling risk-based solutions, including fraud, identity, credit risk, or related products and services.
  • Proven ability to build executive relationships, expand existing accounts, and identify white-space opportunities with both new and existing customers.
  • Strong consultative selling skills, including the ability to identify customer needs and engage stakeholders at multiple levels of an organization.

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $144,200 - $267,900. Total Target Cash Range: $221,900 - $412,100. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.

If performed in New York, the base pay range is $158,600 - $294,700, the total target cash range is $244,100 - $453,300.If performed in New York City, the base pay range is $173,100 - $321,400, the total target cash range is $266,200 - $494,500.If performed in Rochester, NY, the base pay range is $144,200 - $267,900, the total target cash range is $221,900 - $412,100.



Pay mix between base and variable pay varies based on sales role; please discuss with the recruiter.
