We're looking for an experienced Lead Mobile Developer to join our fully remote engineering team.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with 5β10 years of experience building and maintaining mobile applications. You'll lead the development of our mobile platform, help shape technical decisions, and work closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver high-quality mobile experiences.
Our mobile applications are primarily built with Vue.js/Capacitor, but we're looking for someone who is also comfortable working with native iOS (Swift) and Android (Java/Kotlin) when needed. We're also interested in engineers who have adopted modern AI-assisted development tools, particularly Claude, as part of their daily workflow to improve productivity and code quality.
What you'll be doing
Lead the development and maintenance of our Vue.js/Capacitor applications for iOS and Android.
Build new features, improve existing functionality, and ensure the apps remain stable and performant.
Contribute to native development using Swift and Java/Kotlin whenever required.
Take ownership of mobile releases, including App Store and Google Play submissions.
Monitor application health using tools such as Sentry and Firebase Crashlytics.
Investigate and resolve production issues quickly.
Review code, mentor other developers, and support the team with technical guidance.
Work closely with Product, Design, and Backend Engineers throughout the development process.
Improve our development, testing, and deployment workflows.
Use AI tools such as Claude to assist with development, debugging, documentation, and code reviews where appropriate.
What we're looking for
5β10 years of professional software development experience.
Strong commercial experience with Vue.js/React Native.
Solid experience developing native iOS applications using Swift.
Experience developing Android applications using Java and/or Kotlin.
Experience publishing and maintaining apps on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
Experience integrating REST APIs.
Familiarity with Redux, Context API, or other state management libraries.
Experience with Git and modern development workflows.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions, or similar.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools, especially Claude.
Previous experience leading projects or mentoring developers.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fully remote team.
