We are currently seeking a Senior IT Specialist to support our Northeast EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) team, which manages 8,000+ interfaces across a rapidly growing market. This is a remote role, with a preference for candidates located near Raritan, NJ who can attend occasional onsite team meetings and events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze data reports and system outputs to identify performance trends and potential issues.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, clients, and third-party vendors to resolve interface and workflow challenges.

  • Maintain and enhance existing EDI client configurations as needed.

  • Provide quality assurance for internal and external reporting outputs.

  • Manage the commissioning and decommissioning of data sets.

  • Support the development of new reports and data analyses.

  • Recommend and implement process improvements to optimize workflow efficiency.

  • Monitor updates to source data systems and assess their impact on existing workflows and reports.

  • Deliver training to end users on new reports and data processes.

  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Act as an escalation point for complex issues, working closely with departmental leadership.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Information Technology, Health Information Management, or healthcare related degree field

  • 2 or more year’s experience with Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, VBA, SQL, DAX, and Power Query.

  • 2 or more years' experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Health Information Management or healthcare related degree field

  • 5 or more years' of experience in EDI or Data Analysis, within a healthcare environment.

  • Current or prior Labcorp experience


Additional Job Standards:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight.

  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and prioritize effectively.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and translate complex data.

Pay Range: $80,000/yr - $100,000/yr

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. 

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.  Casual, PRN & Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only.  For more detailed information, please click here
