Job description

Overview:

As a Senior Analyst – Product Strategy & Development, you will combine strategic thinking, financial expertise, and data-driven insights to assess emerging concepts, build compelling business cases, and influence product investment decisions. You'll work cross-functionally with leaders across Product, Finance, Medical Economics, and Operations to help bring innovative healthcare solutions from concept to reality.

Responsibilities:
  • Translate innovative product ideas into quantitative frameworks that evaluate market potential, customer value, operational feasibility, and financial viability.
  • Develop robust financial models, ROI analyses, sensitivity scenarios, and five-year forecasts that support strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze complex data sets to uncover actionable insights and strengthen business cases for new products and enhancements.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analyses to identify healthcare trends, emerging technologies, growth opportunities, and unmet customer needs.
  • Evaluate the financial impact of enhancements to existing products and recommend adjustments to assumptions and projections.
  • Partner closely with Finance and Medical Economics to establish product-level P&L frameworks and baseline assumptions for new concepts.
  • Create executive-ready presentations and recommendations that communicate complex analyses in a clear, compelling way.
  • Identify data gaps and develop practical solutions or proxy assumptions that enable informed decisions and continued project momentum.
  • Collaborate across business areas to ensure recommendations are actionable, aligned with strategic priorities, and grounded in market realities.
  • Influence the future direction of our product portfolio.
  • Work on high-impact initiatives that drive innovation and growth.
  • Partner directly with senior leaders and cross-functional experts.
  • Blend strategy, analytics, finance, and healthcare market insights in one dynamic role.
  • Help shape products that create value for both health plans and providers.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred)

  • 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, consulting, healthcare strategy, product development, or related roles

  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, business case development, and P&L analysis experience

  • Knowledge of healthcare business models, including health plan and provider dynamics

  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and SQL skills (Tableau experience is a plus)

  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear insights

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across teams

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with ambiguity

  • Agile, curious, and innovative mindset

  • Experience supporting new product development, innovation, or growth initiatives

  • Ability to build assumptions-based models and make recommendations with incomplete information

  • Passion for using data and analytics to influence strategic decisions
