Your Role...
The Salesforce Architect will lead the design, governance, integration, and optimization of the organization’s Salesforce platform and its interconnectivity with the broader Go-To-Market (GTM) technology stack. Serving as the technical authority for Salesforce solutions, this role partners with business stakeholders, Revenue Operations, Marketing, Technology, SDU, and external vendors to deliver scalable, secure, high-performing solutions that enable business growth. The Salesforce Architect defines platform strategy, establishes architectural standards, oversees implementations and program health, and ensures Salesforce and connected GTM systems align to organizational objectives while maintaining system integrity, data quality, and compliant operations
All remote positions are based in the United States, and candidates must reside within the U.S. to be eligible for consideration.

In this role, you will...

Platform Architecture & Strategy 

Define and maintain the Salesforce architecture roadmap across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, connected marketing platforms, and custom applications. 

Establish architectural standards, design principles, development best practices, and governance processes across Salesforce and key GTM integrations 

Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable Salesforce solutions leveraging Salesforce platform capabilities and declarative (out of the box) functionality wherever possible 

Ensure platform scalability, performance, reliability, security, and long-term maintainability across the Salesforce ecosystem. 

Solution Design, Delivery & Technical Oversight 

Lead end-to-end solution design for Salesforce implementations, enhancements, customizations, and integrations across the GTM tech stack

Produce and maintain architecture diagrams, data models, technical specifications, and solution documentation. 

Review and approve technical designs created by admins, developers, consultants, and third-party vendors. 

Provide technical leadership throughout planning, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-release stabilization; oversee overall program health and ensure delivery aligns to roadmap and standards

Integration & Data Architecture 

Design and oversee integrations between Salesforce and enterprise/GTM systems (e.g., Workday, marketing intelligence/automation tools, data lake, contract management systems, and custom applications). 

Define Salesforce data governance standards, master data management practices, and data quality controls. 

Ensure integrations follow best practices for APIs, middleware, event-driven architecture, and data synchronization patterns. 

Governance, Security & Cross-Functional Leadership 

Develop and maintain governance processes including release management, change control, and environment strategy/management. 

Ensure compliance with internal security standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. 

Conduct architecture reviews and platform health assessments to proactively identify risk and optimization opportunities. 

Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Technology, and Executive Leadership as a trusted advisor on Salesforce capabilities and roadmap opportunities. 

Facilitate stakeholder workshops and requirements sessions to drive alignment and clear outcomes.

Develop and maintain governance processes including release management, change control, and environment strategy/management. 

Ensure compliance with internal security standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. 

Conduct architecture reviews and platform health assessments to proactively identify risk and optimization opportunities. 

Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Technology, and Executive Leadership as a trusted advisor on Salesforce capabilities and roadmap opportunities. 

Facilitate stakeholder workshops and requirements sessions to drive alignment and clear outcomes.

Teamwork & Collaboration 

Mentor and guide Salesforce Administrators, Developers, Business Analysts, and external consultants; support vendor selection, recruiting, and resource planning. 

Foster a respectful and collaborative environment by upholding professionalism and engaging in constructive and respectful conversations.  

Support a positive workplace culture by promoting open, solution-oriented communication, encouraging teamwork, and maintaining a focus on shared goals and productivity.
 

What You Need to be Successful...

Education: Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field. 

Experience required

8-10+ years of Salesforce experience, including 3+ years in a Salesforce Architect or Lead Architect role.  

Deep expertise in Salesforce platform architecture, configuration, customization, and integration.  

Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Lightning Platform. 

Experience designing enterprise-scale integrations using REST, SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and ETL tools.
 

Licenses/Certificates: 

Salesforce Certified Application Architect preferred 

Salesforce Certified System Architect preferred. 

Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) preferred.
  

Consultative & Analytical Mindset: Incredible listening skills and intellectual curiosity. Strong financial and data analysis capabilities (cost/benefit analysis) to tell a compelling story and build detailed solutions.

Behavioral/technical skills; Competencies​​​​​​​: 
​​​​​​​
Strong understanding of Salesforce security architecture, sharing models, profiles, permission sets, and governance frameworks.
  

Experience designing enterprise-scale integrations using REST, SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and ETL tools.  

Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, source control, and release management practices.
  

Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Revenue Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Data Cloud
.  

Experience integrating Salesforce with Workday, Microsoft Azure and Fabric data platforms.
  

Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and cloud technologies.
 

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.  

Experience leading cross-functional teams and large-scale Salesforce initiatives. 

Travel Flexibility: 15% of travel time; domestic or international

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes annual bonus eligibility, benefits, and other opportunities at ReSource Pro. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity relative to other ReSource Pro employees. This is a remote position, and the salary range for most locations for this role is $80632-$136397 annually. The salary range may vary based on experience and on the specific geographic location in which the candidate resides.
