Job Description:

About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Network & Security Engineer to join our growing Global Support Centre team. In this role, you will provide technical support to customers worldwide via phone and email, helping to troubleshoot networking and security issues while delivering excellent customer experience.

What You Will Do

As part of a 24/7 support environment, you will be responsible for logging, investigating and resolving incidents, managing vendor escalations, coordinating hardware replacements, and working closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to drive issues through to resolution. You will gain hands-on experience across a wide range of networking and security technologies from leading vendors, while developing your technical expertise through structured training, mentoring, and industry-recognized certifications.

The position follows a 24/7 continental shift pattern, with 12-hour shifts organized in four-day blocks (2 day shifts followed by 2 night shifts), each block followed by 4 consecutive days off, including coverage during weekends and public holidays.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Basic understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, network topologies, and common networking protocols
  • Knowledge of Cisco networking concepts and technologies or relevant training/certifications (e.g. CCNA) would be an advantage
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in English and Polish

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to or experience with one or more of the following technologies: Cisco, Check Point, Broadcom/Symantec (Blue Coat), F5, NetApp, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, or Microsoft Cloud solutions.
  • Additional European language skills such as German, French, or Spanish.

Hours of Work

This role operates within a 24/7 support environment and follows a continental shift pattern, including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays. Shifts are 12 hours long and organized in a rotating schedule of 2 day shifts, 2 night shifts, followed by 4 days off. Occasional overtime may be required to provide coverage during holidays or team absences.
