What is the opportunity?
As a GSI Administration Support Specialist, where you’ll play a critical role in delivering exceptional client service while ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational standards. This position is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments, value teamwork, and are committed to continuous improvement. You’ll contribute to a high-performance culture, support risk management initiatives, and help maintain RBC’s reputation for excellence in the insurance industry.

What will you do?

  • Manage client requests with accuracy, tracking daily workflows to meet Service Level Agreement (SLA), quality, and productivity goals.
  • Prioritize tasks efficiently, ensuring timely completion and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Escalate non-standard requests as needed.
  • Support cross-training initiatives, mentor colleagues, and share knowledge to strengthen team capabilities.
  • Process daily transfers, retro adjustments, and GSI payments while monitoring reports and resolving issues proactively.
  • Identify high-risk clients and coordinate Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) with the AML High Risk Client Team.
  • Ensure ongoing Client Due Diligence (CDD) and compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.
  • Monitor audits, report compliance gaps, and suggest process improvements.
  • Foster collaboration with internal partners (e.g., Underwriting, Sales, Finance) and external stakeholders (e.g., Advisors, Plan Administrators).

What do you need to succeed?

  • University or College education.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Commitment to client service excellence, professionalism, and teamwork.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance (e.g., AML, Privacy) and risk management frameworks.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Bilingual proficiency (English/French).
  • 2+ years of experience in the insurance industry.
  • Familiarity with GSI insurance products or systems.
  • CEBS designation or participation in the LEAP program.

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.

Pay Range

The expected pay range for this position is:

$40,000.00 - $60,000.00
