Job description

Ilir Sela started Slice with the belief that local pizzerias deserve all of the advantages of major franchises without compromising their independence. Starting with his family’s pizzerias, we now empower over tens of thousands of restaurants with the technology, services, and collective power that owners need to better serve their digitally minded customers and build lasting businesses. We’re growing and adding more talent to help fulfil this valuable mission. That’s where you come in.

The Challenge to Solve

Slice CRM sits at a genuinely unusual intersection: two audiences (consumers and shop owners), four active channels (email, push, in-app, and SMS), and a mission (More Bigger Orders) that requires both sides of the equation to work. The consumer side demands lifecycle automation that drives repeat purchase and habit formation. The shop owner side is newer territory: an SMS-first program built to educate and engage independent operators, giving them the ability to compete with large franchise models. The foundation is being built, and we need someone who can assist in constructing it while running the programs that depend on it.

The Role

As CRM Lead, you'll be hands-on. Your primary domain is Braze (Canvas flows, segmentation, campaign architecture, subscription group logic), and you'll operate at the intersection of CRM and data, collaborating with technical partners on the infrastructure that unlocks the next generation of automation. You'll own campaign execution, QA, and platform hygiene while also contributing to how we sequence and evolve our broader CRM strategy across both audiences.

The Team

You'll join a small, high-output CRM team working across B2C and B2B audiences in close partnership with marketing, data and engineering. Visibility is high. CRM is a priority at the leadership level, and your work will be seen.

The Winning Recipe
We're looking for someone equally comfortable as the architect and the builder, someone who can hold the strategic picture while doing precise, reliable execution work in Braze. These are the core competencies:

  • 3–5 years in marketing ops, CRM, or growth ops, ideally in a multi-channel B2C and B2B environment with transactional or marketplace dynamics
  • Deep Braze experience: Canvas flows, segmentation, content blocks, subscription groups, and campaign QA. You've maintained these systems, not just used them
  • Technical fluency: Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and Liquid personalization for dynamic content in emails and messaging
  • Comfort operating in a data-dependency environment. You can build toward clean systems from imperfect starting points and sequence work when prerequisites are still in progress
  • Familiarity with incrementality thinking: holdout groups, control logic, and understanding the difference between correlation and lift
  • Communication: Fluent written and verbal English skills, with the ability to communicate clearly across both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Bonus: experience building an SMS program from the ground up

The Extras
Working at Slice comes with a comprehensive set of benefits, but here are some of the unexpected highlights:

  • Premium healthcare, dental, and optical coverage
  • 25 days PTO
  • Wellbeing stipend
